Sanho is stuck in a demiplane, an industrial white flat span nearly 140 square km in safe zone, although it is designed to inhabit humans the demiplane is not entirely safe. Creatures inhabit the demiplane sometimes safe animals, other times grotesque monstrosities. Each one was a saved species, set to die out in its home planet. However even with this Sanho is able to explore his surroundings, finding strange "enrichment" activities given by the species that looks after him. The containments he is found in are surrounded by a dense forest, seemingly superimposed on the otherwise white, abstract plane, The forest while not expressly forbidden is horribly dangerous, as it is not cleaned nor curated by the species, leading to impossibly dangerous waste made by the species to accumulate.
Sanho is incapable of generating or using funds, his current status as a kept animal leads to a life where any kind of currency is not needed. though other humans may be present in his containment, society without its need to create its own food, shelter or entertainment has created a community that does not use any form of money. Trade is still a form of bartering however the abundance and safety leads to it being minimal. His satchel however was bartered for through a small group of "stray" humans who do not claim a being of the higher species as their own instead deciding to live in the safe zone without the overt watch of a higher lifeform.
Sanho is trapped. He wishes for nothing more than to escape his confines that he has found himself in. Though the safety zone surrounding his home is large he has ventured outside of it, finding a group of humans who live even further from the higher lifeforms than even the strays. This forest contains many dangerous species, predatory insects, and even higher lifeform garbage. This garbage that oftentimes is capable of killing with the slightest accident. Risking the chances he's traveled through the forest just hoping for a chance to return to earth. In this forest a person spotted him, noticing how he was a "kept" human, followed him deeper into the woods. Sanho even with his supernatural perception couldn't shake the stalker. eventually forced to confront him, Sanho was attacked, using a stone from the ground he bludgeoned the stalker, killing him nearly instantly, the guilt lead to him fleeing the forest, haunted by his first kill. With his failure in the forest Sanho has turned to the contracts. his only hope to escape this wretched place.
Before this, when he was a child he wandered deep into a cave. Lost, scared, and alone, he wandered deeper and deeper till suddenly, he felt a force pulling him in a direction, following this he wandered blindly through the pitch black of the cave till he saw a light, the outside once again. Following this force saved him from the darkness. This ability never did leave him, allowing him to seemingly navigate with his eyes closed pulling him where his gut felt he belonged. He found himself down there, a person who was not limited by their base senses but someone who was able to see further.
His mother, Isuel, The person he has been most worried about with his disappearance, before his capture he sent her a short text, "I'll be home soon mom don't worry, I just have to check something out soon." every time he thinks of her he feels his heart sink, worried about her, worried about his sister
His sister, Lea, only a year older than him was visiting the night before, He fought with her the last time they met. The last words she may ever hear from him would have been full of hate.
His Owner, more accurately, a monster. only standing to his chest yet infinitely dangerous, This being finds him as some kind of pet. He's often an object of therapy to this creature, some kind of therapy animal to their owner. Though his options are strict his life in the demiplane is considerably good. Keeping him safe and healthy is a goal for his owner, however certain things are not in the cards for sanho's owner.
Sanho lived a strange and strained childhood, with a mother caring for him and his older sister. His father passed away while he was quite young only 5 years old, this death weighed on his mother greatly. Though she tried to hide it the weight of this loss affected her in a way that many could notice especially young Sanho. He started taking on more weight even at a young age to support his mother, learning to cook and take care of his older sister. This has forced sanho to grow up significantly faster than he should have, a forced upbringing that lead to a less than stable psyche, making him lash out in stressful situations and making him feel resentful for those who couldn't handle themself. This often lead to trouble to his sister, who struggled with mental health and social issues. Often resenting her for not taking on more when his father passed. His mother however was able to eventually recover from her husbands passing, failing to notice sanho's spiraling mental state. This instability took form of violence in several places, intentionally antagonizing students into fights before fighting dirty, often times gouging eyes or kneeing below the belt.
Sanho was not able to live a normal childhood, he felt alienated among his peers because of his stressed home life and strained relationships with his family members, however this lead to a strong bond with some, leading to several friends who felt he needed something better, throughout his teenage years sanho was setup with many people his friends chose, though he never found any of them to be fitting, finding himself already burdened at home and not wanting to push that onto another. He rarely if ever interacted with members of the opposite sex, due to going to a male only primary school, this along with his myriad of mental and social issues kept him from ever truly finding someone.
Sanho has always feared caves, his earliest memories were ones stuck in the damp darkness surrounded by something from earth but clearly not meant to be explored by him. Mankind was not built for the damp depths surrounded by miles of stone and the crushing silence of no true living thing moving around them. Where every snuffed light or dark corner that once seemed so Illuminated holding nothing more than inky blackness. Places where sunlight is never seen are often full of creatures who's flesh is almost invisible, born without eyes, skittering through the void on sound and touch. These things, born without the light fill Sanho with dread, not just the fact he is without his greatest asset but those around him are not suffering the same fate. He fears not the stillness nor even the silence of the depths but the fact that something may be there, and he would be defenseless against it. This powerlessness coming from a life full of control, not only of himself, but his environment, to an environment where everything about him is reduced to a blind man stumbling in a world so alien and unfathomable that even those who enjoy them and are used to their horrid depths end up finding their demise many times in them.
Sanho was often fond of his home, he was born there, raised there, got his first black eye in the back yard, watched his father pass in the kitchen, seemingly he only cherishes the memories, his memories, of his family, of the time spent, lost, and those who came and went. Sanho doesn't hoard things like money, or electronics, but memories, things he saw, felt, experienced weigh heavy on his mind when asked what his favorite possession is. His little bedroom, stuck in the attic where a dim bulb Illuminated his childhood, his books, his games with only one player. He kept to himself, not something that could be stolen but something that not even the deepest reaches of the abyss could steal from him. His collection of thoughts weighed on his mind often, returning to his inner sanctum the weight of years of memories. All of this stripped from him by his newest captor, not the weight of his memories, but another being, his owner. Keeping him from not just his family but the familiarity that comes with something like home.
LET ME OUT
Given his situation you would most likely think that his days filled in paradise are easy, live as free as you can be in a world of easy life.
SET ME FREE
But he seems to have some problems, Socializing with others has been a problem with him since the start.
LET ME GO HOME
I don't know why he should be so angry, he is well kept for, fed, entertained, left to his biddings most of the times.
STOP TORMENTING ME
These escapades into the outside world don't seem to be doing him to well, he comes back battered, bruised, flinching at my every movement.
I NEED TO ESCAPE
Though I can tell he has been taking a liking to ME recently he has been talking a lot more to ME, clearly it helps soothe his head.
ANYWHERE BUT HERE
I am not surprised with his mental state given all the horrible things he's had to deal with recently.
However, he is MINE, so he will have to deal with it
Much dearest, OWNER
Sanho Starts his morning wandering the demiplane, enjoying whatever artificial sunlight lights the place. He often has breakfast with his owner, something simple with a nice cup of synthetic coffee, after that his owner does something they read about humans enjoying "grooming", playing with his hair and listening to him complain about his days. His time with his owner is pleasant, though sometimes his owner is pulled off for things much more important, often times is where he separates from his owner, going to test his abilities in peace, pushing his limits and attempting to improve his skills. He usually spends several hours on this before making sure his tools and items are properly taken care of. Recently he has taken to lifting more and more soil with his powers, attempting to surpass his limits. Up to 180 lbs is his maximum, keeping track of how strong he is and readying himself just in case he has to go out again for another time.
Sanho's current situation makes it hard to dress his best. His minimal encounters with high society has lead to him having no idea how to properly prepare for any kind of fancy event. His only prior experience being his 8th grade dance when he was 16, and even that was with the assistance of his mother. Any chances of him actually properly preparing for anything high class would be much more of a stroke of luck than any true knowledge. He had a suit that he bought from goodwill prior to his capture, though it was quite small and way too tight in many places, doubtful if it would even start to fit anymore. He often has little care for what most folks think of him, so any kind of odd stares for being underdressed is often brushed off because he's used to looking strange, standard conventions for life don't apply to him anymore, not once he saw his first harbinger and took that deal.
Sanho was born on september 19th 2006. He always spent his birthday with family, his mother and sister often taking time to home make a cake. His mom always trying to smush his face in the cake, singing, dancing, his first year as an adult is almost bittersweet. Something like that almost feels like a dream to him now, the violence he's experienced at the hands of harbingers and the alien indifference of his owner to his want for family slowly wearing at him. He has to escape, Not now but once he's strong enough, strong enough not only to escape the prison physically, but mentally. He cannot let himself be trapped.
Sanho was taken, not of his own volition but outside of it, a significant change for most humans under his owners charge, they were often deathly ill, stuck dying, or otherwise about to leave this earth, his owner spared them taking them as pets and caring for them. Sanho however was a special case, his superhuman perception allowed him to not only notice but see the creature that became his owner, he tracked them, following them around the streets before he noticed something even stranger, a blue weave, some kind of web that people couldn't even notice passing through it as if it were not even there. With his head throbbing and every sense he had screaming in fear, he threw a stone at the weave, trying to destroy something he couldn't know. This however was a fatal mistake, the stone he threw ricocheted, flinging back at him at blinding speeds, something wet flowing down his side as he collapsed not even feeling the wound that opened in his side. the last thing he saw before he ended up trapped was his new owner, hovering over him. If he hadn't thrown that stone, or even if he didn't follow that creature, he would still be a normal teenager living a regular life.
Sanho's potential comes from his heaven's grace, a gift given by his owner. If you have ever heard a famous quote by Arthur C. Clark "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" well that's his owner's technology, his near death that was once caused by a stone is now his greatest power, Geomancy, his current abilities in geomancy are limited, and primitive at best, able to do little more than mold earth into a simple suit of armor or float stones, his real abilities are yet to come to fruition. With his combination of a naturally inhuman perception and an ability like geomancy allows him to greatly affect his surroundings where someone with one or the other would struggle in many situations the combination of power and control enables an almost instinctual ability to act without thinking and complete the objectives in front of him. His perceptive nature and his unnatural control of his surroundings makes a strong synergy.
Sanho lives with a greater being, his views on religion were shattered the moment he came across his captor. The alien kindness to him dethatched from humanity in an almost surgical way made him wonder if that is how gods feel. Not as an artist does to their paintings but as a person looks at an ant. insignificant or even a pest to be removed. This shift, from a world where gods were untouchable, truly divine, to one where he was not only taken by one, but actually cared for by something close. A being so powerful that even your senses lied to you on what they were truly. His brush with greatness has dulled him to true power, almost numbing the fear response in his brain to entities like his owner, similar to a deer growing used to human habitation, sanho not only learned how to live near them but was almost domesticated by them.
Sanho does not know what to believe, his initial entrapment in his false paradise, the promise of power by beings clearly indifferent to his plight, even his old life seems alien to him now, not sure if his return to his family would be a son coming back to his family, but a stranger walking into someone's open arms. The chance that everything he is working towards will change him in a way that not only takes his humanity but truly takes his goals from him terrifies him. The fear of change not only driving him to preserve but changing him without him even knowing. He will one day make his way back home to his mother, his sister, but would it be truly sanho hugging them, or something just wearing his face, his memories of a loving family, not something that is truly human but as something that once was.
