While originally from a more simply, safer town, I felt my drive to justice and saving those who can't save themselves was not appropriately being utilized. Moving to New York City I have been able to fight crime and help those in need much more. My home and headquarters is located in the suburbs of the city away from it all so I can safely keep my tools and my resources. The total space of my house is enough for a small smithing set up in the garage and then a spare room that I replaced with a concrete floor and filled with workout gear to help keep myself fit! I have a nice kitchen with all the protein that I need, an adequate bedroom, and a simple bedroom.
I work as a sculptor and metalworker for a local art establishment doing anonymous contracts for them. The job was a lucky break for me since it pays well and neither me or my employer need to communicate much about my progress. I spend most of the money I earn, outside of the bare necessities, on my smithing projects to forge my real passions, swords! I sometimes sell my blades online to enthusiasts which is another way I earn money but it isn't the main way for me. I also spend time traveling around the nation when I have enough spare money and try to provide my aid to other places that need me.
I strive to protect the innocent and take down those who wish to cause chaos. I want to make the world a safer place because I have personally experienced just how bad it can get for people. Making the world a safer place will help pave the world for better things. How far will I go? I will do my harm and maim the villains in front me and if they push their luck too much I will kill them. They know what they signed up for when they committed their crimes and if they don't then feigning ignorance isn't a proper excuse. Even if I am bleeding and chocking on blood, I will do my best till my strength gives out.
Growing up I was a big fan of superheroes and other big media characters that saved people and spread the message of peace and justice. Well, about when I was thirteen years old me and my parents were walking down a road and decided to cut through an alleyway to catch a train we needed to be on, missing would mean having to wait another day for a new one to arrive or to get a rental car. Walking through the dark alley we were accosted by a gun wielding and unfortunately we lost all our wallets and bags and only had the clothes on our backs. A news article came out that that man killed someone as well. Seeing how defenseless we were and the person they killed was I vowed to one day become someone who’d stop people like that man from having the chance to commit crimes.
Kyle Kore - My best friend of just over a decade who I can talk to about almost anything. He lived back in the old town we grew up in and refuses to move anywhere else. He is an average height, thing man the same age as me. We both enjoy superhero media.
Joe Johnson - The art gallery curator who employ me to do metal working jobs for the main artist. He is stern but also hands off, meaning so long as I don’t have to talk to him I don’t have anything to worry about. Our relationship is mostly just handing plans sculptures back and forth with money here and there.
Hank Holmes - A detective buddy who lives in an apartment deep in the center of New York City. While it would be expensive, he is needed there so the police core pay for it. He is an honest man who just wants to do the right thing. We work out together sometimes and I can say he is very well built, not as tall but it is rare that anyone is as tall as me.
My childhood was mostly comfortable, I had just about everything I could need which included all of the superhero and shonen content I could have. I was able to get out side and get as strong and charismatic as I could to help act out all of my fantasies.
My parents were and still are good people, my mom being a stay home mother and my father a nuclear engineer. My mom was kind but also frequently distant with her passion for art taking her away as she needed to finish one more project or study another subject. My father was very important and just a busy, being a nuclear engineer is not light work and is therefore under extreme scrutiny. He didn’t take any problems home and was a great father but he was also home very little.
When I wasn’t home I or playing outside, I was at public school, which in our smallish town was led to many of the same people in every class and grade that I had. I didn’t get along with every single person but I did my best to be nice and treat people with care. Not everyone is perfect and I can be the only to rise up to help bring them all to be better together. That mindset made me popular with a lot of people and since I was into sports I was a major name on our football team.
I have fallen in love with a good number of women in my life. When I was in high school me and the leader of the cheerleading team, Nina Warrant, were great together and I think if it weren’t for us having differing college preferences we would still be together to this day. In college I had many short term flings with women who caught my eye and thought I was funny and/or attractive enough to date. In the past year I have been more devoted to myself and my vow to be a hero for the people in more ways than the cops can, so in this time I haven’t been with anyone. One day, if I find the right person I might rejoin the dating scene and maybe get married, but until then I will be fully devoted to my ambition.
