Eve Treble's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

You recall your shared apartment, grimacing slightly at the constant noise and heat of the room, stacking upwards of ten people into a single room led to a much hotter space after-all, and you hated the heat. Every night you would sneak out of the auto locking dorm to sleep somewhere outside, the cool air a comfort to you in this life.

If you had anywhere else to go, you would pack your meager belongings and leave, no questions asked, you have no ties here anymore, but despite your best efforts, you could not afford to move anywhere else, whether the risk being far too high, or the cost being far too high, so..you were stuck here, until you had a lucky break.

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

You earned your Scrip mostly through luck and hard labor, working to treat others in the patient wards earned you just enough income to survive, but never thrive. You always have to count whatever Scrip you earn doing your work, spending too much would lead to starvation or being removed from your housing, you wouldn't mind being homeless if it would lead to a cascade of issues, including you being possible removed from your schooling.

Though, very rarely, you were able to buy things for pleasure, rather then necessity, such as the occasional jacket, and a single motorcycle you had managed to get your hands on. It took alot of effort but you were able to keep it running, despite you not using it very often.

Overall though, you were..happy? No, you wouldn't quite call it that, your life sucked but you knew it was far better then some others, and that made you happy.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

Curled over a desk in your crowded room, you review your plan. Cloud seeding, if you could pull it off, you could start the first step to saving this damned world. It would take...ages, may never happen fully, but you had to try, it was going to be the epitome of your current studies. If you could seed the clouds using a non-toxic substance, you would be able to begin to filter out the acid rain, have crops begin to grow more, and from there it would only get better.

But..you were missing that first step still, you needed to figure out how to get the seeds up there, you had no resources. The corporations wouldn't listen to you, not until you became someone important, someone scary.

So you would become that scary person, the kind they listen too, you would do whatever was needed, even if it meant your own death..you were, extremely fearful of it, admittedly, but you knew that if you created a better world, you would be immortalized..but sadly, that didn't help much..

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

A common story in Eden's gate, but one that defined and solidified your goal. Death, the death of your parents due to the toxic exposure, thanks to the toxic fog and rain that comes, your parents had fallen to its toxicity due to the inability to find proper shelter. Something you would come to fear, to the point you began to devote your whole life to fixing it.

You..can still remember them, pale and feverish as they succumbed, refusing to let you get close in fear of the toxins leaking from their skin harming you, as such, you began your work, delving yourself entirely into this hollow, juvenile dream. But you just, can't let go for fear of yourself breaking.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

Thinking back on it, who..did you have? sure, your parents were there until their bitter end, but..beyond that, you didn't interact with many people in the dorms, other then the group studies and forced activities you had to do together. You..had no ties, no one to miss you if you were to disappear..well, besides one person, maybe.

Beatrice, a non-verbal yes-man to every idea you came up with, she..seems excited over everything you tell her but, you have a vague feeling, she isn't all there. Her eyes are always clouded and dark, but neither of you dug into each others background, preferring to keep to yourselves when you weren't in some form of activity.

thinking on it more..you can barely recall your parents, you got the brown hair of your father and the blue eyes of your mother but, you were, odd compared to your parents, maybe some form of recessive gene?
