Izaiah lives in central Jackson Missouri, moving there in 2008 after the portal to Eden opened. Izaiah understands that the proximity to the gate of Eden is one that is tightly threaded, peoples paths wrap very closely and the contrast of darkness and light is drastic in such a space. Clearly for a prophet of the weave this is a place that is very much in need of enlightenment, so Izaiah moved to a basement underneath a decrepit church. The basement is one room and nicely cleaned out, with a large tapestry loom set up in the corner. Baskets of thread and material cover the floor and shelves within the room, and on the floor is a dirty mattress with equally dirty bedding. On the loom there is always a tapestry being made and always tapestries hung on the wall.
Money is spent on materials for Izaiah's tapestry's. The interconnectedness of the weave is so innate and in its entirety is so wonderous that Izaiah honors it through the art of weaving. It is through tapestry making that he writes down a lot of scripture and creates holy art to demonstrate the nature of the weave. Izaiah sometimes thinks that the universe is not necessarily a tapestry and just how it manifested to him in his vision, it could also be a painting, where the brushstrokes equate to a life lived, or maybe a Book with the story of the universe. Izaiah theorizes that tapestries are just a familiar medium to him and it more signifies the artistic like element of the universe that we live in.
Izaiah's ambition is to spread the understanding of a weaved universe. The idea that one is a thread in a beautiful tapestry that is pre-determined and fulfilling wholly because it is a piece of art in it whole. One can suffer their entire life yet still be fulfilled simply because of their understanding that they are part of something great and beautiful. Izaiah achieves this by growing his awareness of the weave. His understanding of the weave, through his abilities, gives him a better capability to convey it and communicate to others the idea of the weave. He achieves this also by going on missions, or "games" from a meta-context. Life threatening situations foster relationships, stories, legends, and directly impact the world, or the weave. He finally achieves this ambition through preaching the weave and influencing the world which grows easier with the growth of his powers. Izaiah wont necessarily kill for this goal. In a world full of so much suffering he believes he must remain a stark contrast to the darkness. He strives to be courageous and of honor to contrast the darkness of the world and contribute to the beauty of the weave. He will come close to death for this ambition. Izaiah understands his thread has been determined and if he dies his thread has come to its end, he will continue to follow his principles and spread ideals.
Izaiah's confrontation with the weave was the most defining event of his life. I will share a verse from his personal journel to convey this event
"It was two nights ago that I had a vision, a vision that I think must alter our understanding of perception of suffering and life. I was hoisted from my body and pulled from the realm of time and space. My physical form was gone and I no longer was constrained by the laws of the universe. Before me I saw a great craftsman, an old man sitting on a stool, in nothingness. Before him was an enormous tapestry. I willed myself to the man and examined the work of art before him. I am a weaver so my understanding of weaving is good enough to say that this was the most exquisite tapestry that I have ever seen. The contrast of color, and the strength of the thread was nothing which I have ever seen before. It was vibrant and the most incredible thing I have ever seen, beyond any verbal description that I could ever provide.. The man sat proudly continuing to weave as I admired his work. I asked the man if I could feel it and he nodded. I ran my fingers over the thread and an overwhelming feeling washed over me, something I cannot describe other than the feeling of living a million lives all at once. I felt love, hatred, longing, desire. I felt the pain of a father losing his child, the joy of winning the lottery, the addiction of a junkie looking for the next high, along with a trillion other experiences, all in one moment. As if I felt the lives of an entire generation in one motion of my hand. I understood what I was viewing, this was not just a piece of art but the entirety of the universe. Each strand has a different story, or person. Some colorful and with redemption, some dark, evil, malicious. Underneath, the warp string sat holding these stories and individuals in place, the physical forms of the universe that you and I know. This man was weaving together the universe, and I understood it completely. The dark contrast was the evil and the suffering, while the color was the beautiful stories and arcs of heroes and martyrs. The strands were all interconnected and influenced each other deeply. I also understood that these strands were without time. Although I viewed the strands in their entirety in the current moment, they were individuals who experienced the world with a linear perception of time as you and I might. The weaver smiled proudly at me, and spoke two words to me, the only two words they spoke the whole time. Make Known. That is where it ended."
