Argo lives in Lexington, Kentucky. He grew up in Louisville with both his parents, but moved away at a young age due to differences in beliefs. Both his parents are devout Catholics, and he just couldn't stand it. So he moved and now lives in a smaller city. He also felt he could make a bigger splash in a new city, which is also smaller. And so far, that has been successful.
Argo lives in a manor near the edge of town. It has space for people of his religion to stay, a meeting room hidden behind a bookshelf, and on the roof is a helicopter pad. He also has access to a private airfield and plane
Argo owns several companies and also gets money from donations through the church. He owns a manufacturing plant, a jewelry store, and several other small businesses. He pays for the church, maintaining and keeping his members off the streets. He pays for meals, housing, ect. On top of this, he has to pay to continue reinvesting in his businesses, cover his tracks with the cult, and other personal projects. He also has recently gathered the attention of another major church and will have to spend lots of money to deal with them.
Finally he spends some on fun and vacation occasionally. He likes to see places in Europe often.
Argo Thythen has created a Religion named Necodria. He hates all other religions and believes that people are being led astray by false prophets and idols. He wishs to destroy these religions and to expand his own religion. He finds graveyards to be an absolute tragedy and believes the dead should be allowed to lie in the place of their doom. Their soul and body should not be detached from each other. He also wishes to discover the secrets to the powers he knows exist and how to wield them. He wishes to show his followers that they are the true religion.
He also wants to finish writing the book of Necodria. To capture the soul of his belief and to eventually find a way share it with the world.
When Argo left home, it opened him up to new experiences. He finally could talk to whoever whenever he wanted. He joined many communities of people who discussed the afterlife and religion. He could never discover any proof for any, so he began to develop his own beliefs. He started his journal and searched for proof. He found something. A dead person walked, talked to him. It whispered a secret to him. Death is not the end of life. It is the next stage of existence. It frees you from the shortness of life and gives you new time and prospective. It is not to be feared; it is metamorphosis.
Harry & Sarah: Argos parents have shaped much of his hate and detest for religion. They had always told him not to question the beliefs and that god was irrefutable.
Tom brand: a friend he had in his childhood and into his teenage years. They both were searching for purpose in life and had many long conversations in the night. Arguably this was the closest Argo was to someone else. They could trust each other and would share every idea they came across. But when Argo met Slander, the undead who had shared its secrets, everything quickly changed. Argo plunged into his research and the balance of idea sharing was broken.
Benedict: This is the person he is currently closest too. A man who shares most of his enthusiasm and beliefs. They had co-authored the original copy of Necodria together. Now he is one of his most reliable members and also manager of the manufacturing plant
Argo's childhood was filled with limits on what he was allowed to think. He was never allowed to question the beliefs instilled in him, nor was he allowed to pick his career path. His parents quickly recognized the genius that Argo had and pushed him to pursue business. He followed there demands begrudgingly. But he eventually discovered the absolute joy he had for investing and making profit and creating value. He also enjoyed the power it brought him and the control and influence he could now exert.
Argo did go to school. In elementary school he skipped a grade and quickly became a stand out in his private school. He excelled in nearly everything he tried. Wether it required charisma or intellect he had it. But his body always had seemed to lag behind. He was never as fast as the other, nor we he very coordinated. He was bullied because he could never stand up for himself until he met Tom.
After Argo went to college and got a degree in buisness and religion.
Argo has never fallen in love with another being. He has always been far to focused on his studys, his exploration of religion and the after life. Several girls had approached him in the past and expressed interest. But he never paid them much mind. He actually dated the first girl who had asked. But they fell apart after she realized how one sided it was. He didn't really seem capable of loving her. And she was right. After that he never excepted another advance. It just seemed like a waste of time. Something to be distracted by. So he has continued alone ever since.
