Wei (UA-566) is a Collection of Symbiotic Parasites who will risk their life to become the ultimate life form while sharing themselves with the rest of the world.

They are ??? years old, and often appears as a lithe, masculine, malnourished individual with long, thick black hair that seems to naturally hold itself in a ponytail. Thick, pointy teeth poke through the scalp and hair, almost like a crown. They have black eyes that appear to be widely dilated, with worm creatures that occasionally writhe past the surface.

Wei (UA-566) lives in Project *******, a setting where reality flows, bends, and breaks, and the whole world stands at a delicate balance. Their journal has 11 entries.

    Jack of All Trades You are naturally capable of most things, even without any training. When making a roll which utilizes a Primary Ability that you don’t possess, you do not suffer the standard +1 Difficulty penalty, and you receive +1 dice to the roll.
    Contortionist You are unusually flexible, and may squeeze through small spaces with ease. Reduce the Difficulty of any roll to escape a grapple or Dexterity roll involving flexibility by 2.
    Avoidance You are so off-putting, that most people just avoid you. You may Exert your Mind to cause someone to ignore or avoid you in a social situation. Any Stealth rolls you might make as a part of this get +2 to their Outcome. Only works if your Charisma rating is 1.
    Clear Conscience You have a special knack for shrugging off traumatic experiences. Penalty does not apply to Trauma rolls you make, and you may Exert your Mind to automatically succeed.
    Vengeful An insult to or an attack on your person simply cannot be tolerated. Each time someone wrongs you or disrespects you in a major way, you must succeed a Self-Control roll to resist taking revenge.
    Swimmer's Build You are built for the water. +2 dice to any rolls relating to swimming. Actions performed in water have their penalty reduced by 1.
    Cat-Eyes Your eyes catch the light in the dark like a cat or dog's, granting low-light vision. You suffer no penalty to rolls in low-light situations. You cannot see in pitch blackness.

    Your antics have attracted the attention of a powerful group of beings, and they are willing to commit whatever collective resources they have towards destroying you.

    Powers

    UA-566 appears to have countless parasitic creatures living inside of it, some natural (tapeworm, pork worm, flatworm) and others never recorded to have been seen outside of UA-566 in the wild. The unique parasites often seem to have supernatural qualities that manifest in the main body of UA-566. The following is a list of the supernatural qualities UA-566 demonstrates as well as the parasite that is suspected to cause the phenomena. This list will be updated as new parasites are discovered in the body of UA-566.

    • UA-566-C: A form of anomalous tapeworm that appears to wrap itself up in the place of the bones of UA-566's host body. These are capable squishing in unnatural ways, allowing UA-566 to squeeze into spaces that even their slight form would be incapable of fitting. At the same time, these tapeworms can harden and stiffen to attack with UA-566's inhuman strength. UA-566 also appears to have splits in their hands, arms, feet, and legs where these tapeworms can emerge and extend the main body's reach.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    You are permanently and visibly transformed: Pale, gaunt form and face with an extremely unsettling, and lifeless expression. Thick hair with pale white teeth buried in the scalp and on the hairline of their forehead like a crown. Deeper in the hair, a gaping mouth gnashes its teeth, hungry for food. You are considered to be a Sapient, Non-Living being when targeted..

    No single organ in your body is critical for life. If any body part is separated, it lives and can take Actions for one hour. Attacks do not get bonuses from targeting specific body parts. You cannot suffer an Injury with Severity greater than 6.

    Your Injuries no longer degrade with time.

    Your appendages can reach an additional 30 feet.

    You can squeeze through any cracks and passageways a cat would be able to.

    Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Monstrous: Pale, gaunt form and face with an extremely unsettling, and lifeless expression..

    • If you become split into multiple pieces, the Player controls the "main" piece, while the GM controls the others. Only the main piece can activate Effects.
    • You may stretch or retract your limbs once per Round on your Initiative.

    The Creature lashes out with its tendrils, latching onto an unsuspecting victim. In an instant, it’s grievous wounds begin to close, sucking the life from the victim like a terrible mosquito.


    Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. If a target does not consent to the transfer, you must roll Brawn + Parasitic Applications at Difficulty 6 to use the effect on them. They can resist by rolling either Body or Mind at Difficulty 6, depending on what you are attempting to transfer to them.

    You may choose a single instance of one of the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:

    • A single Injury and any Battle Scars it caused
    Cannot be used again on the same target for the next day.

    Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the victim's body being injected with writhing parasites that then emaciate the relevant body part, then get sucked back into UA-566, healing them.

    Whenever you transfer an Injury, it's Severity increases by 1. Whenever you transfer Mind damage or Traumas, the recipient takes an additional Mind damage.

    • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
    • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

    Though it is unclear if UA-566 ever felt pain or stress, the host body certainly performed worse as it continued intense testing. Now, however, UA-566 seems to be capable of ignoring all of circumstances that might stress or harm another person. Be advised, bullets are no longer a strong deterrent to the creature.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    Your Body and Mind Penalties are reduced to 0.

    UA-566 now seems capable of shrugging off the effects of most any illness or biological toxin. They have been seen to occasionally fall ill to their strange diet of living rodents, but this has become less and less common as of late. Cross testing with SCP contagions will likely begin once UA-566 seems capable of handling more than mundane illnesses.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    You get +2 dice to any Body resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:

    • Survivor: You are immune to all non-Alien diseases.

    • These bonuses apply only to Body rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to other contexts such as attacks made while under the Creature Transformation Effect.

    The bone and muscle inside of UA-566 has been completely replaced with different variations of either UA-566-A or other large, anomalous worm creatures. Although they're visually thin and lithe, they are almost 99% muscle. Because of this, 566's brawn and athletic ability has truly become legendary. Together, the Menagerie is stronger than any man.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    Your Brawn rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Brawn (cannot be used on combat rolls or Effect activations).

    You also gain the following effects:

    • Tough: Half your Brawn acts as Armor against all incoming sources of damage.

    UA-566 is known to enter a short-term enraged state that greatly enhances their strength and reaction times. Agents are warned to proceed with caution when UA-566-A's hook-like teeth have emerged from its tendrils. While in this state, it is capable of swatting bullets out of the air with both its hair and internal parasites, and armor seems to be of minor use against their additional strength. Agents are advised to wait for this state to end and avoid direct engagement, as it seems to only stay active for about an hour.


    You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.

    Your unarmed attacks deal +0 Bonus Damage (instead of -2). The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage. You may React to and Defend against firearms and other projectile attacks.

    You also gain the following effects:

    • Jiu-Jitsu:When you successfully grapple an opponent, you may choose to also deal damage to them equal to the Contested Outcome on the grapple roll.

    • The total damage of a ju-jitsu grapple-attack is equal to your Outcome minus their Outcome. Bonus Damage from the Bonus Damage Parameter does not apply to damage dealt through this Enhancement.
    • Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.

    UA-566 is a sapient entity dwelling inside of the body of a roughly 30-year-old biologically male human. The entity inside of UA-566 claims to be the collective consciousness of the symbiotic organisms living inside of the body. It claims to not understand human socio-emotional concepts such as art or self-expression. It seems to have a preservation instinct informed by experience with human technology, as it has always attempted to avoid firearms, knives, and electric shock during testing.

    The most noticeable anomalous quality of UA-566 after initial containment is the carnivorous parasite (Taenia crinium) housed in its neck and scalp, henceforth referred to as UA-566-A. UA-566-A is completely fused with the primary body of UA-566, and efforts to remove the parasite has lead to the near-death of UA-566 numerous times (see Transcription:1-4A). UA-566-A is comprised of numerous tendrils that grow from the host's scalp, disguising itself as thick, oily hair. These tendrils can extend a surprising length from the central body of the host and easily squeeze through tight spaces. Underneath the tendrils is a gnashing mouth at the base of UA-566's neck that is constantly pulls perceived food into itself. A number of thorny teeth have also grown out of the central mouth of UA-566-A, buried within the pseudo-hair as well as at the top UA-566's forehead, forming a line of sharp bones reminiscent of a crown.

    It is apparent that UA-566-A has a level of autonomous control that occasionally overrides the collective consciousness inside of UA-566. UA-566-A has grappled and bitten a number of researchers in the past, and testing on UA-566 now requires a metal hairnet to keep UA-566-A under control.

    UA-566 claims that UA-566-A is a "new addition" to it's "collection," and therefore struggles to follow the commands of the central consciousness. It claims to be improving its control over UA-566-A but a statistical analysis of recent incidents involving UA-566 have demonstrated this to likely be a falsehood.

    *Addendum 566-1:* It appears as though UA-566 has developed a stronger neurological link with UA-566-A. It claims to have "worked out their differences" and "bonded over a shared love of eating." Note that UA-566-A has not been recorded to have any interest in anything other than the consumption of raw meat.

    *Addendum 566-2:* UA-566 has gained an enhanced level of agility with their limb, being able to squeeze its tendrils into extremely tight spaces without sacrificing manual dexterity. It is now capable of opening doors from the inside of its containment unit. Ensure that security doors are water-tight in order to prevent a security breach.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand.

    Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.

    Your appendage is capable of bending and squishing in normally-impossible ways. It may fit through any gap that is not water-tight and retain its functionality.

    Your appendage has a grip that is hard to shake. While grappling a target, when contesting their physical actions, you may roll your full dice pool, but it only counts as a Quick Action.

    Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.

    During recent testing, UA-566 has demonstrated its ability to survive for long periods without oxygen. During the engagement, UA-566 was fully submerged in a tank of water with other aquatic life for a total of 48 hours. The subject did not lose consciousness for the entire testing period, not even for the purpose of sleeping. It was seen occasionally feeding on fish, though other than this predation behavior, it spent most of its time staring directly at the research directors present throughout the period. The three researchers have requested transfers out of Site-5, citing intense paranoia and fear stemming from this interaction. These emerging memetic properties are in need of further research.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    You no longer require any sleep or air in order to survive.

    Instead of food and water, you must consume mammal meat/fluids daily for sustenance. For every day you fail to consume it, you lose a point of Brawn. If your Brawn falls to 0 in this way, you die. Your Brawn is fully restored to normal as soon as you fulfill your dietary needs.

    Wei's senses are incredibly well-tuned, their precision being owed to the strange methods by which natural parasites find food in the wild. It is unsurprising that The Menagerie would, too, develop similar methods of hunting down larger game.


    You gain the following benefits at all times.

    Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

    • Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.

    It’s eyes dilate as long tubes of flesh covered in tiny hairs protrude out of its arms and legs. It smells the terror brought about by its hunt, and they cannot escape its looming grasp.


    Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.

    You automatically detect all Stressed Creatures within 300 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

    Any Stressed Creatures detected while the effect is active are “marked”. You will continue to detect them until the effect ends, no matter how far away they move. You will also continue to detect them after the effect ends, so long as they remain within 300 feet of you.

    You receive the scent for each being you detect.

    All Stressed Creatures who you can sense are equally able to sense you.

    Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see sphincters opening up on Wei’s arms as long, puffy scent organs pulse outwards.

    While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

    • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

    Wei is quite capable of fitting into small spaces, but with the manifestation of a new parasite, Chordodes Imperius, they are nie undetectable. It came to be in the Hivemind as almost a direct sign of defiance against The Foundation to prove that they will have an immense amount of trouble keeping them in containment again.

    With the help of this parasite, Wei is capable of emptying its body of all of its parasites, compacting the entire hivemind into any animals that are close enough to their tendril. This can be a physically demanding experience and it is not without risk. Leaving the safety of the flesh can cause 566 to lose a number of the parasites in their body, causing them intense bodily harm until they are capable of reconstituting themselves.


    Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Creature target within arm's reach.

    You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next three hours. You do not leave your original body behind when you possess a target. When a possession ends, your original body will reappear at the host body’s same location. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.

    Stats: Any Actions you take will use the possessed creature’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception, but use your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities.

    Gifts: You do not have access to any Gifts while you are possessing your target.

    Death: If the host suffers an Injury, or is destroyed or incapacitated, you are evicted back into your own body.

    Eviction: You cannot force your host to take Actions which would violate their instinct for self-preservation (which includes engaging in Combat for any purpose other than self-defense or natural hunting); any attempt to do so will sever the connection and send you back into your own body. If you are forced out of the target's body prematurely, you must make a Trauma roll.

    Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see 566's body flattening as the countless parasites from within them writhe into every oriface on the target's body. The meat sock also slips in on the wave of exposed worms, completing the possession with a bonechilling squelch.

    Crafted Artifacts

    The mask of an androgynous Asian American person with pierced ears and freckles.

    First the face is crafted, stitched onto a backing out of whole or pieces of faces, recombined into new masterpieces. Penny can supply the canvas if you wish to stitch a face to it yourself, but without her expertise there could be some… mishaps. Regardless, once the face is complete and worn for the first time, it becomes immutable, permanent. Whole faces will result in an exact body of the deceased, but working from scratch allows you a bit more… creative freedom.

    Once you put it on, you feel the threads work their way into your skin, the backing melting away and the flesh becoming one with yours, which covers your entire body, morphing and molding uncomfortably until you look exactly as the face’s previous wearer looked, or you look like a wondrous new creation of flesh.


    Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend a minute to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless someone skilled in surgery must first attach an existing face to the mask, or stitch one together from pieces of faces.

    Your appearance changes to the form that matches the face attached to the mask. The disguise lasts until you either activate a new disguise, or choose to end the effect.

    You are only able to shift into the one predefined appearance. This new appearance must have a similar sex, age, and race to your own. You cannot significantly change your height and weight. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You cannot alter your clothes. You may add inhuman features to your disguise. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.

    • While you can add inhuman features, they are aesthetic only. Think star trek alien, monstergirl, demon, etc. Does not grant things such as a prehensile tail, an extra damaging brawl attack, improved senses, etc.

    You get +1 dice to any Mind resistance rolls you make. You also gain the following effects:

    • Been There, Done That: If you succeed a Mind resistance roll, subsequent attempts to use that same Gift or supernatural ability on you for the next day will fail.

    • These bonuses apply only to Mind rolls made to resist Effects and other supernatural phenomena. They do not apply to Trauma rolls or self-control rolls.

    566's Turn Choke

    Not exactly the traditional form of this artifact, this simple black choker with a silver kitsune at the center of the throat is identifiable.

    An appropriately named jacket, coming in a variety of colors and woven with kevlar fabrics this blend of modern technology and fantastical ability can take you from anywhere to Leon's own home base. Though he's loathe to hand these out to any but those he trusts beyond all else, their incredible value in getting out of a shit situation when all else fails is beyond measure.


    Exert your Mind and spend 2 rounds to activate. If you are at The heartstone of the Imp's Bog in Russia, you may choose a target Location within your line of sight; otherwise, your target may only be The heartstone of the Imp's Bog in Russia.

    You are transported directly to the chosen Location. You must wait an hour before activating this effect again.

    After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

    • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

    Parasite Larva the Size of a Small Seed within a Nondescript Pouch | A special gift from Riker "as a token of our new partnership and my eternal gratitude" For every three Contracts that 566 participates in after receiving this trophy, they will receive one larval seed within their pouch. They must find a living human host and implant this seed into their brain and keep them alive for two months to allow the larval seed to grow into a full-fledged parasite. The human host will die once the parasite has matured. Upon extracting the parasite, 566 will be able to subsume the parasite into their body and receive their choice of one of three possible buffs that will last one month (one contract and the downtime after it): +2 to two seperate Abilities- they can not be stacked | you get your choice between Iron Will and Jaded | or you may heal or reduce the severity of an injury by no more than 4.
