    Circumstances

    Wealthy
    From Assets and Liabilities
You are "comfortable" in the way that makes people extremely jealous. You have access to $100,000 (or equivalent currency) per Contract.
Polyglot: (Japanese) English, Mandarin and ASL
    From Assets and Liabilities
You are fluent in three additional languages. You can speak, read, and write in the chosen languages. You may be given a roll to decipher some amount of meaning from a related language at GMs discretion.
    Point of Contact: The Collector
    Given by Riley
You know someone in a specific industry or area of influence, and can lean on them for assistance. Once per Contract, and once per Downtime, you may call in a favor from The Collector regarding some supernatural items and creatures. Your contact is not brainwashed or supernaturally compelled, and they may refuse to do things which are unreasonable or absurd. You may attempt to call in additional favors beyond the first one, but these are not guaranteed, and over-use of your contact may cause you to lose them, as well as create potential Loose Ends.

    Conditions

    From Assets and Liabilities
Vengeful An insult to or an attack on your person simply cannot be tolerated. Each time someone wrongs you or disrespects you in a major way, you must succeed a Self-Control roll to resist taking revenge.
    From Maelstrom
Forgetful: Half a brain When you make a deal for your life, you'll find yourself really wishing you were conscious to negotiate the price. Your mind is a sieve, and while you can recall broad strokes, committing anything more detailed to memory is quite difficult. You must roll Mind Difficulty 6 in order to remember any details (locations, names, address, where you left something that you set down, physical descriptions of things, bits of information you were told, etc…) If you fail the roll, you may Exert your mind to remember, but if you botch the roll, you are stuck.

    Legendary Artifacts

    TORI

Created and held by Kurigo "Oz" Osikawa.
    1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

TORI is a rebuilt, mint, 1982 black Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. She looks identical to any other '82 Trans Am from the outside, except for a purple light bar in the front grill. TORI's CPU has the voice of a young British woman.

TORI stands for Tactical Off-Road Interceptor

This Artifact can be used as a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. It is roughly the same size as a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am but can be collapsed into Matchbox car and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

This 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has Bulletproof Windows, Kevlar re-enforced body, run flat off-road tires, biometric security. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.

You also gain the following effects:

    • Amphibious: Your vehicle may move on and under water at its normal speed. If your vehicle includes an enclosed space, it will function as an airtight, pressurized cockpit.
    • Mind of its Own: This vehicle can move and take Actions without you driving it. It has seven dice for all Drive rolls.
    • Steady As She Goes: The motion of your vehicle never causes your passengers dice penalties, and you do not suffer dice penalties from the unsteadiness of any vehicle you are riding in.

Using this power requires Oz to speak the commands to TORI. This can be done in her compact form if he speaks directly to her.

Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions to activate. Select a Computer within 300 feet. Does not work on Alien technology. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6. The hacking roll and their defensive roll are both Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.

Your hack cannot be discovered by system administrators or firewall software for a number of hours equal to your Outcome on the initial roll.

    • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Using TORI's onboard computer Oz can instruct her to create simple, mundane objects. These objects are 3D printed in a small box in her trunk.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend 1 minute to activate.

Choose an Object which could fit inside a messenger bag (up to 10 liters). It cannot be Alien and must be generic. You cannot create explosives. You cannot create firearms.

Roll Intellect + Technology to fabricate up to 5 copies of your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. The created item lasts 2 hours.

    • The Difficulty for the fabrication roll increases based on specificity. Something like a "shirt" would be Difficulty 5, whereas "Police uniform" would be Difficulty 9. The Outcome determines overall quality and how well the item fits the request.
    • You can fabricate a container of something so long as it contains a single type of thing (such as a tank of water) or it is designed to be packaged together (such as a first aid kit).

    Consumables

    1

Discovering technology from a fallen satellite, Oz was able to create a tonic utilizing various chemicals that were irradiated with Gamma rays to cure any disease or poison. This concoction appears as a green liquid in a small plastic bottle labeled "Oz's Transmation Fluid" System must be running when used.

Use up this Transmition Fluid and spend 1 minute to activate.

You may cure any any diseases or poisons afflicting yourself so long as you have fully diagnosed or understood it. You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional damage or other effects.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

    • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.
    • Without some sort of diagnostic Effect, “fully diagnosing” a disease or poison will always require a roll of some sort, frequently Intellect + Medicine, but the specific roll and difficulty is at GM’s discretion.

    Biography

Kurigo was born in Koto, Japan. He is a third-generation mechanic. Kurigo and his older brother, Sento, both spent most of their childhood in their father's garage. Kurigo was a natural mechanic while his brother was more interested in the cars themselves. When the brothers were in their late teens, they found a junked 1982 Firebird. The two decided that they would restore it and Sento would race it. They spent the next year rebuilding the car. It was during this time that their father got sick. It was cancer. Oz's father sat the boys down and told him the secret of the business. The shop was a front for a Yakuza chop-shop. Most of the families used it, so it was considered neutral ground. While he still could he would introduce the boys to the major players to ensure a smooth transition when it came time to take over the shop. The following two years where a whirlwind for Oz. They finished the car, their father passed, and Oz took over the shop. Although stressful, things were going pretty good for Oz and his family. That all changed in the summer of 2016. Sento had made some tweaks to the Firebird and when he went to next race it lost control. He totaled the car with him inside. He did not survive. Oz was devastated. It was only him and his mom now. He threw himself into his work. As the years passed, he would look at the husk of the firebird and daydream. Remembering one of his favorite shows from Netflix he vowed to create the ultimate car. He's spent the last several years piecing together an indestructible car that had its own AI. He named the car TORI.

On Oz's last contract he was knocked unconcious. In order to save the group Kevin sacrificed half of Oz's and Kaerym's minds. Kaerym Yasura assured that they would be able to restore Oz's mind, but is actually unable to do so.
