Mark Boehner was born into a wealthy family, as the second son of a senator. Mark was sent to a boarding school in Rose California, "Rose Technological Academy", from age 11 to 18, developing a deep interest in technology and science. While in school Mark was exposed to political theory, and in the absence of his fathers influence he arrived at conclusions which would leave him at odds with his father's political platform. Now as a 28 year old man Mark has worked for 17 startups and started 5, of which none have been successful. Mark fears that he will be overshadowed by his father's harmful legacy and never be able to truly have an effect on the world. His fear of inadequacy is further stoked by his relationship with his father which has never been healthy, His father's temper often led to shouting and violent outbursts, usually accompanied by something that would hurt Mark emotionally, "You are a slob", "I failed as a father", "I wish I had started wearing rubbers after your brother".
(Of Note: "Its Bay-Ner not Bow-Ner" is a phrase oft uttered by Mark, and he hates when people get his name wrong, Mark dislikes Hamsters after his childhood pets ate eachother, Mark is a meticulous person, to the point of being pathological often preparing himself excessively for very unlikely "surprises", but rarely for more likely "surprises", Mark is not fond of surprises.)
