Years of practice on cows and pigs have taught Brioche how to effectively chop all the way through the meat and bone in one swift strike.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with chef's knives.
Your attacks with chef's knives deal +3 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
Brioche has learned to modify chef's tool kits to include secret meat compartments, where he can store fresh remains so that scavengers and cops cannot access it. To get to it, he unattaches a snap fastener near the top of the kit, and instead of opening to his knives and spices, it opens to a small refrigerated compartment.
Spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use a chef's toolkit to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may store butchered or cooked meats in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 15 of them at a time.
Brioche eats some meat and beefs himself up, becoming visibly swole af. His altered appearance will begin to fade once the barrier falls, but will not fully go away until the next day.
Exert your Mind and Spend an Action to activate. You must use up a piece of meat in order to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome + 2 Damage. The Damage reduction from the Barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
The Barrier will fall after an hour, or if it absorbs the full amount of damage. When a Barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Brioche feeds his target a nice medium-rare steak which is so packed with protein that their broken flesh and bones will re-knit back together.
Exert your Mind and spend ten minutes to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up a piece of freshly cooked meat in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar will heal over the course of the next week.
Brioche suffuses his meats with such love and tender care that they can restore life and vitality to those who eat them. An injured person can consume a freshly prepared steak and watch as their injuries fade into memory.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up a steak in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

Trophies are special objects and equipment.
Examples of Trophies include healing potions, scrolls, sci-fi technology, or any supernatural item that was not created with The Contract's Gift system.
Because Trophies may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
