Circumstances describe your situation.
Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.
Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Conditions describe your state of being.
Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.
Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.
Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.
Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.
All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.
You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Hana has had a... stressful upbringing. After her birth her parents had a falling out, and her father took her. He loves her - they both do - but he has great hopes for her. This translates to a great deal of stress on the young girl - who, having been gene-edited already, already feels like an outsider. She knows what she must do, but she does not know if she has the strength to do it.
History:
Hana's mother was from Biogenetics, her father was from Command.
Her mother had pushed to apply 'minor' tweaks to their daughter so that she'd have an advantage. Her father was against it. When Hana was born... it was clear that her mother had done them anyways, and there was nothing 'minor' about it. A long shouting match in the middle of medical culminated with Hana's father using the Enforcers to have her mother ejected from medical by force, seizing his daughter. It resulted in a lot of drama, but it did settle. Her mother and father are still on icey terms.
