A polished silver ring with two names engraved on it: Emelda x Peter

Golden lights and sparkles of life, flowing outwards. This gift, bestowed by God as a carriage to carry his most blessed servant; Mama Emelda Turismo was allowed care of her late husband's blessing. Bestowed unto her, a vehicle that was found, and then blessed by God to carry her through.

Her late husband's presence imbues this vehicle, and she knows that wherever she brings his ring, he will be there. Even though his souls is in heaven, at the very least, this, gives her comfort that he is nearby.

Experience the sound of sanctuary. The Lincoln Aviator features available Active Noise Control that captures, analyzes and cancels sound within the cabin. An acoustic laminated windshield and front door glass as well as expandable baffles further enhance interior quietness. This Artifact can be used as a Blackthorn Security Vehicle. It is roughly the same size as a Blackthorn Security Vehicle but can be collapsed into Engagement Ring and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

This Blackthorn Security Vehicle has 6 Armor plating with bulletproof glass, AM Radio and storage compartments with a small fridge.. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Afterburner: Your vehicle has a 25% faster top speed and you may Exert your Mind to accelerate to its top speed in a single Round.
  • Amphibious: Your vehicle may move on land as well as under water at its normal speed. If your vehicle includes an enclosed space, it will function as an airtight, pressurized cockpit.
  • Steady As She Goes: The motion of your vehicle never causes your passengers dice penalties, and you do not suffer dice penalties from the unsteadiness of any vehicle you are riding in.

This item is a living thing. When targeted, it counts as a Living Creature in addition to its other target types. If destroyed or abandoned for more than two days, it dies and becomes unusable.

Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Meek: Should anyone raise their voice at you, roll a Self-control roll in order to engage in further conversation, and not immediately excuse yourself from conversing with them for an hour.. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.

  • If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.

Community Artifacts

Magic Body Pillow

A body pillow infused with unknown dark arts and strangely, Vocaloid hair. It stinks to high hell, and you can notice some suspicious stains on it. There is an illustration of a blue haired anime girl with twin tails on it holding a peace sign up. No one but the user knows what it's true power holds.

The user lays down the body pillow gently and begins reciting a speech from their favorite anime, others will witness the pillow begin to rise at first and will watch on in horror as the girl illustrated begins to form, layer by layer, bone, sinew, muscle, tissue, and hair all form into an adorable anime girl who will defend the user to the death if necessary.


Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Inspirational anime speech.. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

Summon a single Miku-Tan at your location. They will last for two hours, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.

  • Attacking: Minions can make melee range attacks with 6 dice to attack and +2 Damage.
  • Body: Minions have 6 Body.
  • Movement: Minions can move 45 feet per Round as Free Movement, and double that when performing an all-out Sprint.
  • Intelligence: Minions have dog-level intelligence, and cannot communicate back to you. They cannot actively use Equipment.
  • Actions: Minions cannot dodge or Defend. Any Perception checks they make are rolled with 3 dice.

The Serpent Knife

This bronze ritual dagger has a total length of 16 inches, with a broad, leaf shaped blade and a handle and guard formed by a pair of intertwined serpents. The mouths of the serpents are open, but empty, as though they are supposed to hold a gem which has since gone missing. (When plunged into a body, the Serpent Knife draws blood out along its blade which coalesces into a pair of gems in the mouths of the serpents. When used to perform a ritual sacrifice, the Serpent Knife can hold the vital essence of the sacrifice within itself for one month. This is mostly useful as it allows sacrifices to be made quickly and in advance, and then spent later. )

The knife's holder understands any form of communication, and is able to reciprocate in kind.


You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

When the Serpents miss their beloved, they use their power to travel through void and end up in their hand. To observers, the knife seems to melt out of shadows until it is there.


This Artifact cannot be broken. If this Artifact is lost and in no one else’s possession, it finds its way back to its true owner during the next Downtime.

By default, the creator of this Artifact is its true owner. The true owner may formally bequeath this Artifact onto another person within arm’s reach, after which they are its true owner. If the true owner dies or is destroyed, their ownership ends. If this Artifact has no true owner, anyone may spend one day attuning to it to become its true owner.

This Artifact's true owner is always aware of the direction and distance to this Artifact.

If this Artifact is in no one else’s possession, its true owner may Exert their Mind and spend two Actions to bring it to themselves.

This Artifact's true owner must have it with them to have restful sleep. They cannot regain Mind or Source while separated from this Artifact.

  • "Cannot be broken" means that damage cannot render the Artifact's Effects unusable, nor can it cease to be used for its primary mundane purpose, if it has one.

Makeup Bag

Containing a pink lipstick, pressed powder compact, some mascara, blush, and a couple of brushes.

With a swipe of lipstick across her lips, the transformation activates in a shine of white light. Ribbons begin to appear and wrap around Charlotte, vanishing into her magical girl outfit. She flicks at her hair, hair becoming long and tied up in bows, gloves appearing on her hands. Clicking her boots together, the transformation ends.

Magical girl outfit consists of: natural makeup, heart shaped wand, heart earrings, choker and necklace, hair bows, ruffled short sleeve blouse that kind of looks like a heart, a pretty pink stereotypical magical girl dress, pink pumps with charms, lolita style stockings, gloves, and a purse attached with pearls containing pink glittery pepper spray, first aid kit, money, pocketknife, perfume, makeup bag, and candy pouch.

Magical girl outfit also provides 3 armour.


Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action.

You transform into an adult magical girl for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are an adult magical girl, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.

While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2 and your Charisma is increased by 2. Your Stress is reduced by 2.

While transformed, instead of your normal clothes and equipment, you are equipped with: magical girl outfit

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

They say makeup can change someone’s appearance, in this case, quite literally.

A heart-shaped compact pressed face powder that comes equipped with a powder puff. With a tap tap on the powder and a pat pat on her face, she slowly morph into someone else! Not just solely limited to appearance as well!


Exert your Mind and spend a minute.

You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.

The new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your outfit. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.

You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.

  • While you may alter your outfit's appearance, this does not grant or store equipment. This does not allow you to change the appearance of Artifacts or conceal their Alien appearance.
  • ‘Appearance’ includes voice, bone structure, skin quality, hair length and color, eye color, muscle tone, flesh texture, and generally anything perceivable about your body.

Chain of the necromancers skull

A chain which is made of durable human hair , which has the skull of an old necromancer which is covered in a layer of bronze.

The Pamala uses the chain to quickly scratch off a small layer of dead skin which is turned into a small hard ball on the inside of the mouth.

She investigates the target off the attack and manages to conclude what a weak spot to attack would be in the current situation.

The skull chain acts as a catalyst to send the ball to the perceived location while its being thrown there.

Pamala found this while breaking into the apartment of one of her targets. The man was suspected in doing ritualistic killings for a while now.

She couldn’t find a single trace of that man but the chain seemed as if it called to her. As if it always had belonged in Pamalas possession.
She knew that this kind of power would be helpful in achieving her goals and following her dream.

Finding this chain was the thing which birthed her wish to be a necromancer.


Spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Intellect + Investigation Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.

If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2.

The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.

If the target suffers an Injury from this Effect, they will receive at least a Minor Battle Scar regardless of its Severity. When this Effect causes a Battle Scar, you may select which one of the appropriate level.

This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Sgt. Brown's Dog Tags

Brown lost his arm fleeing the enemies. He fled into a temple and fell unconscious in a temple when he awoke he still felt his arm though scattered he felt so much more but so much less. Anyone wielding this item may manifest the "Phantom Limb" of Sgt. Brown.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.

You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 2 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 2 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.

Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:

  • Reactions: You cannot use a Reaction telekinetically.
  • Multiple Items: You can only interact with one thing or take one action at a time.
  • Line of Sight: You may use this Effect on targets which are out of sight, provided you have an understanding of their location.
  • Unarmed Combat: You are able to deal damage through unarmed attacks, grapples, and thrown objects.
  • Weapons: You cannot wield weapons effectively in combat.
  • Fine Tools: You are otherwise limited to actions that a normal human could do with their bare hands.
  • Maintaining Focus: You must maintain Concentration while taking Actions in this way. If you are Injured or interrupted, you must roll Mind at Difficulty 9 to maintain Concentration. If you fail, you cannot engage in telekinetic actions for the next 6 - Intellect rounds.

  • Using this Effect on targets which you cannot see will not give you any descriptive information about their location or surroundings, though you will have a sense of whether or not you are “touching” them, or if they bump into something.
  • Any telekinetic actions which interact with Animate targets may require contested rolls at GMs discretion.

Stock Legendary Artifacts

Personal Shield Generator

The device itself is a metal hexagon that is worn on the belt and glows when active.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction.

You phase out of reality for up to 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.

When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.

You leave a golden glow shaped like yourself at your location.

  • If you use this Effect to dodge as a Reaction, it succeeds without the need for a roll. Cannot be used as a Desperate Defense.
  • You may use your Free Movement on the Round you phase back in, but you cannot take an Action.

The Airship of Solitude

The airship of solitude is an imposing black blimp. While flying through the air, it is regularly struck by lightning, terrifying those below.

This Artifact can be used as a blimp. It is roughly the same size as a blimp but can be collapsed into a phone-sized canvas cube and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

This blimp has full science laboratory, bullet-proof envelope, and ample parachutes. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Crew of One: You alone may stand in for an entire crew if the vehicle would normally be piloted by more than one.
  • Mind of its Own: This vehicle can move and take Actions without you driving it. It has seven dice for all Drive rolls.
  • No Muffler: Any stealth rolls made to hide your vehicle automatically fail, and any rolls made to notice your vehicle automatically succeed.

  • If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.

You have 6 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.

Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor shredding or penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots. When shredded, it returns to full potency in one hour.

Any time your Armor prevents Damage, your Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 2. Whenever it goes five Rounds without preventing any Damage, it is restored back to its full value.

  • Armor recharging happens automatically and does not require an Action.
  • This Effect’s Armor rating cannot be increased by any other Effects.

The Coffin

"The Coffin" is a black, alligator-skin briefcase made to look like its namesake. The interior is coated in red, quilted leather. It is quite a bit larger on the inside, appearing to stretch backwards like a dark passageway.

This Artifact holds 5 times what it normally could inside of it. Objects stored inside are weightless. Unless you are storing something commonly found in coffins, this Artifact behaves as its mundane counterpart. This Effect cannot be used unless you are storing something commonly found in coffins.

Living things can be stored in this Artifact. They will have access to anything else inside and may attempt to break free, damaging or destroying the Artifact in the process.

If this Artifact is destroyed, things inside may get out, and it will cease to function until it is repaired.

When scanned or investigated without opening, the contents of this container appear normal and unremarkable.

On a Downtime, you may change this Artifact from one type of container to another. Maximum once per Downtime.

If anyone other than you opens the container, it appears empty. Others can still destroy it to get at the contents.

  • You cannot change the container's type if you are not in possession of it.
  • A container of holding cannot be placed inside another created by the same Gift.
  • There is no cost to use this container.

Winter Fang

A massive bow made of solid ice.

This Artifact can be used as a bow. It is roughly at least twice as large as a bow and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.

Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage. Attacks do not require a successful called shot to do damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Infinite Ammo: This weapon never runs out of its standard ammunition.
  • Leave No Trace: Your projectiles crumble or vanish after impact, leaving no meaningful trace of your assault beyond the wounds they leave. If your attack would kill or incapacitate your target, they make no sound, even incidentally, for the next Round.

  • This Artifact cannot be disguised or morphed with other Effects like Shape-Changing object.
  • Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.
