When Selma uses her art, the air feels heavier, as if the world itself pauses to watch. Wounds seal over with a quiet shimmer of sterile, silver-blue light — not like healing, but like editing. It’s not kindness that stops the bleeding; it’s control. Somewhere in the corner of the patient’s eye, Selma’s hand lingers a moment too long, as if memorizing exactly how to undo it.
Selma’s precision is not born of compassion, but of mastery. Every cut she binds, every heartbeat she saves, she does so on a leash she holds tightly in her palm. "Doctor’s Precision" is not a gift freely given — it is a loan, and she alone decides when the debt is called in. Her patients live at her mercy, each stabilization a quiet signature on an invisible contract: I let you walk away... for now.

Jude revels in his shuddering lungs and hacking cough. The dehydration headache, the stitch in his side when he runs, and the soreness of his legs from spending his life in cheap shoes- it's all home, it's always been there for him, and it makes him feel confident that he's doing something right. He wants to help others realise that this is the right way to feel, but is smart enough to play some waiting games on the process.
Ann Webber is his best friend and longest term project. He knows/thinks he knows that he'll convert her eventually; he can at least put it on the backburner for their friendship.

This is ingrained in his personality and the progression of his gifts..
Mako's eyes turn into their sockets, like a shark after a kill, and he leaks a runny dark red substance similar to blood
You gain the following benefits at all times.
If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life.
If, while you are unconscious, your wound level rises above your rating in Body + Dexterity, or if you take an Injury with Severity greater than your rating in Dexterity, you die. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.
Rasha, in Fallujah lost her arm to the handheld explosive thrown into her bedroom. The powers that be decided to invest in Rasha and a cybernetic prosthetic arm was gifted to her by a mysterious man in the back of an Alley. The arm resembles an arm covered in silicon to have a synthetic appearence. However at her command a blade can extend from the top of her arm to slay her foes.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand.
Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.
Your extra appendage can be used to attack in exactly the same manner as a Thrusting sword.
Your Extra Appendage counts as an object and can be hacked or targeted by any Powers that affect objects or machines. Injuries to your Extra Appendage cannot be healed by Powers that affect living things but may be repaired during Downtime.
Execute's Coherent humanoid form dissolves into a mass of Nano machines that partially shift color to fit in with the environment , though it is nearly as capable as their more humanoid body, able to use their normal abilities as per usual, and blend in decently well!
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up Nanite in order to activate this Effect.
You transform into A mass of Nanites for the next hour. You may end the effect early and return to your normal form at will. Your structure must remain relatively contiguous. It is not necessarily obvious that your transformed state is an unusual phenomena or that it is acting with singular purpose.
While in this form, you can squeeze through any gap that is not water-tight.
Damage from standard attacks is halved, but Damage from AOE effects is increased by 1. You may spend an Action to reduce one of your Injuries’ Severity by 2, as long as you obtained the Injury while transformed and the separated pieces could reasonably be rejoined. If you would die from Injuries sustained while transformed, you instead live, but the only action you can take is Reforming.
You cannot communicate or use equipment while transformed. Your equipment does not transform with you beyond basic body coverings. Carrying capacity is unaffected.
You have access to your Powers while transformed.

The doctor heals severe injuries in minutes using only standard medical supplies. Lacerations seal under the needle and thread, and reset bones can be used shortly after.
However, for the treatment to last, the patient must adhere to any aftercare regimen the doctor requires. Those who violate the doctor's orders suffer their injuries anew.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use basic medical supplies to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition. Lasts until the end of their next Contract or 1 month for non-Contractors.
Doc puts his hands on you and begins to mutter to himself in french. The effect is instant and horrible. You begin to remember all of the sins of your past, all the ways that you've wronged those who loved you. All of the terrible, evil things you've done on these contracts in order to survive. Doc seems to be in the grips of similar memories, tears running down his chin and dripping onto his hands that are pressed tightly against you. At the point where your mind feels like it's about to break, it's over. Just as quickly as it began. You feel your wounds begin to close.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma. Your target must make a Trauma roll to reap the benefits of this Effect. They may choose to Resist the Effect and not make the roll. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
The Vampire may channel their inner beast and take the form of an animal. It is said they may transform into either a wolf or a bat. If used too often, the Vampire risks losing themselves to their beast forever.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
You transform into a vampire bat or a wolf until you transform into something else or choose to return to your original form. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: A disfigured face with bat-like ears.
