(When activating this Effect, you are obviously changing your appearance. )

Andrew Guy is capable of blending into a crowd so seamlessly that his features and clothes change to better fit in.


Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Near a group of at least 3 people.

You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for an hour and a half, or you may end it early at will.

The new appearance must have a similar sex, age, and race to your own. You cannot significantly change your height and weight. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your clothes. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.

  • While you may alter your clothing's appearance, this does not grant or store equipment.

Reconnecting with the will of sports, most notably football.
Putting himself as the protector of football and with this patriotism and spirituality, he puts himself through rigorous training as he pushes himself to the limit in the name of football, in doing so in the name of football he has gained a mark the football players eye black, that covers the cheeks and a line across the bridge of the nose to connect cheeks, all covering in eye black. Alongside well with this constant flow through him it tends to be a bit uncontrollable at times and cause him to sometimes break little things.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Permenant eye black on the face.

Your Brawn rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Brawn (cannot be used on combat rolls or Effect activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Beast of Burden: You may carry up to 50lbs per point of Brawn with no Penalty, and your Penalty when over-encumbered is -1 per 50lbs over this limit.
  • Champion of the Caber Toss: You may lift an additional 1500 pounds per point of Brawn beyond 5. You may also throw items up to this weight with a Brawn plus Athletics roll, to a distance of Outcome x10 feet.

  • If your Permenant eye black on the face is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

The scar mildly resembling an eye spreads and contracts at a stead pace, in the center a drop of blood forms and remains there as the man surveys the dark corridor around him.

Rohan has made contact with a powerful artifact during his career as a pirate. The scar is the result of this, and grants him a more intricate view into the world around him.


You gain the following benefits as long as you have your scar on your left wrist.

Your Perception rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Constant Vigilance: You cannot be ambushed or caught-flat footed when awake. When asleep, you can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6 to wake up in time.
  • Slow Time: You may substitute your Perception as the Attribute for any rolls made for Reactions.
  • Weak Points: You may use Perception in place of Dexterity on attack rolls.
  • Can't Unsee: Any Trauma rolls you make are rolled at +2 Difficulty.

  • You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
  • If your scar on your left wrist is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

Sheriff Perkins can flash his badge and bark out orders to a person or a crowd, and they will have trouble ignoring his command.


Spend at least one Action to activate. All Sapient, Living targets within 20 feet of you are affected. You must actively and obviously use a police badge to activate this Effect. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.

The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.

Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Commands can put the target into a potentially self-endangering scenario, including Combat, though you cannot force a target to directly attack themselves. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.

This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.

  • The target must be able to understand you and must receive your communication for the suggestion to work.
  • Allowed Commands
    • Direct Order: The target must take an immediate action (e.g. “Sit down,” "run away," or "tell me your password.")
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Somm performs an ancient social ritual known as "Gaslighting", by utilizing a set of instruments to herald a haunt as well as combining that with whimsical social performance.

Ghostlight is a reference to Gaslighting, a manipulation tactic in which you socially engineer someone into questioning their own sanity. Ghostlight is also a reference to Greenlighting, a term used by gangs and organized crime groups where you "Give the OK" to jump or kill someone. Ghostlight as an ability, is Somm giving the ok for the victim to be haunted, as well as gaslighting them at the same time into believing that they are.


Exert your Mind and spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: proclaiming and greenlighting the haunt utilizing bells, vocals, and somatics. to activate. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use Chinese Instruments to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. Roll Charisma Spirituality at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.

If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain Ghostlighted - You possess a delusion that you are detrimentally haunted/hunted by ghosts, spirits, and/or similar phantasmal entities. as a Trauma. This trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy as per normal rules. Affected targets are aware that you are interacting with them but they do not view it as an attack or view the resulting Trauma as malicious. If their Trauma is treated, they will be able to see the reality of the situation.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Margeret’s occult heritage has asserted itself, allowing her to converse with beasts. Usually this conversation is whispered and private.


You gain the following benefits as long as as long as you are speaking to animals.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures as if you are fluent in a relevant language.

  • Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.

Stock Power Gifts

While transformed, the Werewolf can leap great distances, allowing them to climb buildings and close the gap between them and their prey.


Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location which is at most 50 feet away horizontally or 10 feet away vertically. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in werewolf form.

You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.

If your target location is no more than 50 feet away, you may spend your Free Movement instead of an Action to activate this Effect.

  • If you are Encumbered, the maximum range is cut in half. If Encumbrance has reduced your total movement to 0, you cannot activate this Effect.
  • Rolls to land safely will generally be Athletics, but GMs may call for a different roll at their discretion if it makes sense for the specific circumstances.
  • You must be on a surface of some kind in order to activate this effect; it cannot be activated while in mid-air.
  • You may only use this Effect once per round of combat, regardless of any enhancements you have taken.

The Witch wiggles her fingers at her broomstick, and it leaps from the ground with a whoosh of wind. She may then hop on and fly around. It’s so fun, she often finds herself cackling uncontrollably.

Flight is brief but quick, and she must return to the ground in one minute.


Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use a broom to activate this Effect.

You may levitate off the ground at three times your normal walking speed. The effect lasts for the next hour, though you may choose to end it at will.

  • Any penalties to dice or movement, including from Encumbrance, are applied as normal. If your movement is reduced to 0 due to encumbrance, you will begin to sink down to the ground.
  • You may activate this Effect while in midair, allowing you to slow and survive any free fall.

The Werewolf’s body, long caught in the crossfire between human and beast, has developed a powerful coping mechanism. It draws upon the conflict, healing severe injuries in a matter of days.

The owner of said body may grow overconfident or feel trapped by their difficulty dying. Risky behavior often follows.


You gain the following benefits as long as your wounds were not caused by silver or the bodies of supernatural creatures (eg. Vampire fangs).

Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level each day, starting once it becomes stabilized. Battle Scars caused by your Injuries will remain. Any Injuries you receive stabilize automatically and do not deteriorate further.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsion to take risks. Roll Mind to take the less risky of two options you are considering.

Perform the Five Point Technique via a series of quick pressure point hits on the target’s chest. As you do, channel your chi and speak a condition involving the number five. If the target cannot stop you from performing the technique, their heart will take a direct hit when they fulfill the chosen condition.


Exert your Mind and spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: touch five pressure points on your target to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. Roll Dexterity + Brawl Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.

If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 3. The target's material Armor is completely ignored.

  • "Material Armor" includes armor from equipment but not Armor from Mythic Brawn, barrier, or mystical armor.

The cop keeps his gun trained on The Witch and nods to her cart. "Open it. Slowly"

Her wrinkled fingers pry open the door. Dozens of miniature glass bottles, each one unique in shape and color, tinkle against each other.

"I can be useful, you know," she croaks, lifting a cloudy pink flask no larger than her finger. "Are you looking for love? One sip of this will send even the most stone-hearted prospect into a fit of passion."

The officer snatches the vial and regards the faintly-glowing fluid swirling within. "Another charlatan," he grunts, tossing it over his shoulder. He grabs the old woman's waterskin and takes a swig. "Plain water's worth more than your lies you dirty--"

He freezes and blinks at the Witch. Where before he saw a vile con artist, now he sees an old woman finding her way though a harsh world. Was his own mother so different? He lowers his gun. "Don't let me catch you tricking folks around here again."

The Witch smiles and snaps her cart closed. "With pleasure."


Spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. You must actively and obviously use your potion brewing set to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Alertness at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.

Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.

Both attacking someone and being attacked will end the Effect.

This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.
