The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

Even in the most safest scenarios, A desperate sense of urgency is always applied.
As if being held at gunpoint to simply stay standing and fight, or to even get up. While the events may be harrowing, this is clearly something much deeper.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Dexterity rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
- Bullet Time: Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to make a single dodge roll that applies its full Outcome to any attacks made against you that Round. You may also React or Defend against firearms and other projectile attacks without Exerting.
Ethereal
The phantom's true movements separate from appearances and some of the kinetic limitations of mundane flesh and bone. It acts with preternatural dexterity, and while in motion, touches just before reaching, and slips away when barely touched or grasped.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your lives.
Your Dexterity rating is increased by 3. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Wanderlust: If you are captured or restrained, roll Trauma.
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Reactionary: You gain an additional Reaction each Round.
- If your lives is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
