Requires Seasoned
You possess the ability to interact with the world without physically touching it.
Used by Guido, Created by Strazhari.

The eyes of the small sauropod crackle & glow with unearthly energy as small objects begin to float about.

Guido uses Intelligence in place of Brawn & Wits in place of Dexterity to determine Psychic Strength. In the case of thrown items, most rolls that would use Athletics use Temporal Physics instead.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 2 in place of your Brawn rating and a Mental Agility of 2 in place of your Dexterity.

Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:

  • Reactions: You may use a Reaction telekinetically.
  • Multiple Items: You can only interact with one thing or take one action at a time.
  • Line of Sight: You must be able to visually observe anything you interact with, and any actions that you are taking will end if their target moves out of sight.
  • Unarmed Combat: You are able to deal damage through unarmed attacks, grapples, and thrown objects.
  • Weapons: You cannot wield weapons effectively in combat.
  • Fine Tools: You may use this Effect to simulate fine tools which can manipulate tiny or delicate things, such as a lockpick, forceps, probes, etc.
  • Maintaining Focus: You must maintain Concentration while taking Actions in this way. If you are Injured or interrupted, you must roll Mind at Difficulty 9 to maintain Concentration. If you fail, you cannot engage in telekinetic actions for the next 6 - Intellect rounds.

  • Any telekinetic actions which interact with Animate targets may require contested rolls at GMs discretion.

Community Passive Gifts

When it is in use, the flesh seemingly regenerates, remaking the limb in perfect health, making it as much like the original limb as possible, including birthmarks and scars. The scene is like watching a time lapse film of a creature like a gecko regenerating a lost limb, starting stubby and filling in. If the limb is a leg or foot, the foot portion can become dexterous with a thought.

Hephaestus often made wondrous creations but none of them could truly help him overcome the limitations of his godly flesh. This ring was one attempt, an attempt to restore strength to his legs (the ring has a twin but it has long since been lost). However, the ring only works on missing limbs, not crippled ones. Furious, the god of fire and creation threw the rings out of his workshop, letting them roll to the foot of Mount Etna where they were retrieved at a later date by a daring Athenian merchant.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are missing a limb and you are wearing this Artifact.

You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand.

Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.

Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.

You may turn this Effect on and off at will during its duration.

Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.

  • You may stretch or retract your limbs once per Round on your Initiative.
  • You may only switch this Effect on or off once per Round on your initiative as a Free Action.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 6 hours. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active do not deteriorate over time. However, any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will remain unless it is Properly Stabilized as normal.

All Injuries you receive are considered Properly Stabilized. You may also choose to heal any Battle Scar on yourself that may not have been caused by an Injury. Doing so takes one day, and the Battle Scar affects you fully until that time.

Once an Injury has been reduced in Severity by two levels, it no longer benefits from this effect and instead heals as normal.

Alan has taken time itself into his being, albeit unwillingly, and time protects its own. It can speed his flesh forward to heal wounds, or even wind back his timeline to restore deeper harms and remove scars. He isn't truly timeless yet, but the ravages of his adventures have much less hold than they once did.

Infections, though, also are caught up in his personal time stream and exacerbated by the very same effect, whether by progressing rapidly or forcing his body back through their worst stages over and over again.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Any Injury you receive from a source other than disease heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 6 hours. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active do not deteriorate over time. However, any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will remain unless it is Properly Stabilized as normal.

You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.

All Injuries you receive are considered Properly Stabilized. You may also choose to heal any Battle Scar on yourself that may not have been caused by an Injury. Doing so takes one day, and the Battle Scar affects you fully until that time.

Injuries you receive from disease are increased in Severity by 1.

  • The increase in Injury Severity stacks with any similar effects, such as the Vulnerable drawback on Inhuman Physiology.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Stress from Injuries and Mind Damage is reduced to 0.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Paranoia.

The ritual is done by using the owner's blood to write sigils on and around the item, while chanting a phrase in Latin. Upon completion of the ritual, the owner feels more tired than normal, and wants to sleep with the artifact nearby. If the owner doesn't, they don't feel as if they've truly rested.

This Artifact cannot be broken. If this Artifact is lost and in no one else’s possession, it finds its way back to its true owner during the next Downtime.

By default, the creator of this Artifact is its true owner. The true owner may formally bequeath this Artifact onto another person within arm’s reach, after which they are its true owner. If the true owner dies or is destroyed, their ownership ends. If this Artifact has no true owner, anyone may spend one day attuning to it to become its true owner.

If this Artifact is in no one else’s possession, its true owner may Exert their Mind and spend two Actions to bring it to themselves.

This Artifact's true owner must have it with them to have restful sleep. They cannot regain Mind or Source while separated from this Artifact.

  • "Cannot be broken" means that damage cannot render the Artifact's Effects unusable, nor can it cease to be used for its primary mundane purpose, if it has one.
