Regenerative Dose "This will only sting for a bit"

4
Requires Seasoned
The power to heal wounds.
Used by Sara Gause Viper, Created by NPboom.
(You are obviously treating yourself for the entire cast time. )

Sara checked the shoulder compartment, looking at the Serum fabricator to see what had changed on her likely most valuable power. it seemed to link directly with her essence now, not needing any ingredients to refill it anymore. instead, it now draws directly from Sara's mind and essence to make her healing formula.

Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions to activate. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 5.

If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.

This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on yourself.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use Bubble Wand to activate this Effect.

Summon a single Humanoid Bubble at your location. They will last for an hour, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.

Minions have 4 Body and can make melee range attacks with 5 dice to attack and +1 Damage. They cannot move faster than a walk and cannot dodge incoming attacks. They have dog-level intelligence, but are capable of communicating information back to you. Any Perception checks they make are rolled with 3 dice.

Your minions can fly at their normal movement speed.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.

Summon a single dust devil at your location. They will last for an hour, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM and will not necessarily obey your commands. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.

Minions have 4 Body and can make ranged attacks at targets up to 30 feet away with 5 dice to attack and +1 Damage. Your minions can move 20 feet per Round as Free Movement, and double that when performing an all-out Sprint. They cannot dodge or Defend. They have dog-level intelligence, and cannot communicate back to you. Any Perception checks they make are rolled with 3 dice.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute to activate.

You transform into A Corsac Fox until you transform into something else. You cannot transform into a flying creature. See the Extended System text for stats.

While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.

  • Creature Stats
    • Medium (large house cat up to human) Body 3. Brawn 1. Dexterity 3. Fall damage reduced by 1.
All creatures get +3 dice to any non-combat Action that they are naturally adapted for. All creatures Medium and larger may attack by rolling Body, dealing +0 Damage (+1 for “predators”) that is not reduced by Brawn. Gms and Playgroup leaders can apply other bonuses and effects to specific animals.

This Effect activates whenever Leon suffers a wound of severity 4 or greater. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.

You transform into Kitsune Form for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Kitsune Form, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately. While transformed, your Attributes are the same.

You do not suffer wound penalties while in your Alternate Form.

If you are restricted, restrained, dazed, sleepy, or stunned, you may activate this Effect to break free or end the negative effect. You cannot free yourself by transforming more than once a minute.

Whenever you enter Combat, roll Mind, Difficulty 7. If you fail, you cannot choose which targets to attack.

You are incapable of fine object manipulation and can only hold or grasp things in a crude, clumsy way.

Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Must be in sufficient darkness or shade. You must actively and obviously use Writing Utensil and a Drawing to activate this Effect.

Choose an Object which could fit inside a messenger bag (up to 10 liters). It cannot be Alien but can include rare or complex materials (such as radium). You cannot create explosives. You may create firearms.

Roll Perception + Crafts to fabricate your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. Created item lasts 1 hour, but you may keep up to three fabricated objects at a time that do not expire after an hour, and will last until they are destroyed.

  • If you want to make a new object which doesn't expire and you already have 3, you must choose one of those three and let it expire. You can still fabricate temporary items when you are maxed out on permanent ones.
  • You can fabricate a container of something so long as it contains a single type of thing (such as a tank of water) or it is designed to be packaged together (such as a first aid kit).
  • For setting the difficulty for the fabrication roll, something like a "shirt" would be difficulty 5, whereas "Police uniform" would be difficulty 9. The Outcome determines overall quality and how well the item fits the request.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless the target object has a cutting edge.

You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Lasts for the next hour. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 4 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 2 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.

Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:

  • Reactions: You cannot use a Reaction telekinetically.
  • Line of Sight: You must be able to visually observe anything you interact with, and any actions that you are taking will end if their target moves out of sight.
  • Unarmed Combat: You cannot deal damage through unarmed combat or thrown objects with this Effect, though you may still grapple with targets.
  • Weapons: You are able to effectively wield weapons with this Effect.
  • Fine Tools: You are otherwise limited to actions that a normal human could do with their bare hands.
  • Maintaining Focus: You must maintain Concentration while taking Actions in this way. If you are Injured or interrupted, you must roll Mind at Difficulty 9 to maintain Concentration. If you fail, you cannot engage in telekinetic actions for the next 6 - Intellect rounds.
  • Levitation: If you are strong enough to lift yourself, you may levitate up to within 75 feet away from the ground. Movement is limited to 5 feet per Round.
  • Multiple Items: You can only interact with one thing or take one Action at a time.

  • Any telekinetic actions which interact with Animate targets may require contested rolls at GMs discretion.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction to activate.

You phase out of reality for up to 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.

When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.

You leave a golden glow shaped like yourself at your location.

  • If you use this Effect to dodge as a Reaction, it succeeds without the need for a roll.
  • You may use your Free Movement on the Round you phase back in, but you cannot take an Action.

Spend a Free Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use a scarf, sheet, or handkerchief to activate this Effect.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.

You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.

You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.

  • "Equip" refers to drawing a gun, putting on a piece of armor, etc.
  • Containers which hold multiple things may count as a single item so long as the things within are generally packaged together. For instance, you may stash a clip full of bullets, a medical kit full of medical supplies, or a box of crackers, but you cannot stash a backpack full of miscellaneous equipment.
  • You may only attempt to store Objects which are free-standing and disconnected from other things. The use of this Effect will not allow you to sever any connections holding an Object in place.
  • The Maximum Object Size parameter is intended to roughly capture the weight / size restriction of items and isn’t intended to restrict shape. GM discretion is advised. A human being is level 4 in the Maximum Object Size parameter.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.

You transform into a vampire bat or a wolf for one hour or until you choose to end the Effect.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: A disfigured face with bat-like ears.

  • Creature Stats
    • Large (larger than human, smaller than elephant) Body: 8. Brawn 6. Dexterity 2. Fall damage increased by 2. Armor: 1
    • Small (mouse up to regular house cat) Body 1. Brawn 0. Dexterity 4. Cannot injure others with attacks. Cannot die from falling damage. +3 dice to Stealth rolls.
All creatures get +3 dice to any non-combat Action that they are naturally adapted for. All creatures Medium and larger may attack by rolling Body, dealing +0 Damage (+1 for “predators”). Gms and Playgroup leaders can apply other bonuses and effects to specific animals.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend 15 minutes to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in a wilderness environment.

Choose a specific type of food, water, or survival supply which could fit inside a messenger bag (up to 10 liters). It cannot be Alien and must be relatively basic. You cannot create explosives. You cannot create firearms.

Roll Perception + Survival to fabricate up to 5 copies of your chosen Object.
