Mikey is able to trust his feeling for when he needs to be aware and for where to best aim his attacks. His strong gut feelings can sometime however, cause severe revulsion in the face of the horrible.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Washboard sixpack.

Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Constant Vigilance: You cannot be ambushed or caught-flat footed when awake. When asleep, you can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6 to wake up in time.
  • Gut Feeling: You may roll Perception + Alertness Difficulty 7 to detect when someone is watching you remotely, even through supernatural means. Requires Outcome 4 or higher.
  • Weak Points: You may use Perception in place of Dexterity on attack rolls.
  • Can't Unsee: Any Trauma rolls you make are rolled at +2 Difficulty.

  • You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
  • If your Washboard sixpack is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

Community Mythic Perception Gifts

This is akin to the danger sense. It allows him to see where the attack is coming from and move ever so slightly that the attack misses him. It is a preternatural awareness of his enemy's actions.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Saw it Coming: Any time you attempt to dodge an Attack from someone lower than your position in Initiative, you may Exert your Mind to automatically succeed without a roll. You may use Source to make a Desperate Defense. There is still a maximum of one Desperate Defense per Round.

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Perception rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Seeing Double: The ranges of all your senses are multiplied by 2.
  • Can't Unsee: Any Trauma rolls you make are rolled at +2 Difficulty.

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your A tail.

Your Dexterity rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Perfect Reflexes: You receive +5 dice to all initiative rolls.
  • Split Second: You may Dodge or Defend against surprise attacks.

  • If your A tail is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your orange eyes (your main eye when transformed).

Your Perception rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: My Friend Now - You become attached very easily. (Whenever someone would refer to you as their friend or otherwise endear themselves to you, roll Self-Control to avoid becoming attached, treating them more protectively).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Clear-Sighted: If you see an illusion, disguise, or other false reality, you recognize it as such but cannot immediately see through it.
  • Saw it Coming: Any time you attempt to dodge an Attack from someone lower than your position in Initiative, you may Exert your Mind to automatically succeed without a roll. You may use Source to make a Desperate Defense. There is still a maximum of one Desperate Defense per Round.
  • Sherlock: You may Exert your Mind to deduce a fragment of the chain of events that led to a particular perceivable detail of an individual or environment. This Effect reveals one piece of information that is not discoverable by a mundane investigation.

  • Sherlock: The amount of information received is limited at the GM's discretion but should at least contain some information that would not be learned from a mundane investigation.
  • If your orange eyes (your main eye when transformed) is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Through faith and belief in a concept, it gains "power". The rise to prominence of the film noir style led to the creation of something beyond us, a being born from thought. With the change of trends throughout the years, it's existence waned. In a last ditch effort to keep itself alive, it latched onto an up-and-coming detective of little renown.

Your Perception rating is increased by 3. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Paranoia.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Clear-Sighted: If you see an illusion, disguise, or other false reality, you recognize it as such but cannot immediately see through it.
  • Compensate: If any of your senses are suppressed, they may still be used for rolls at +2 Difficulty.
  • Constant Vigilance: You may React to surprise Attacks, and you do not automatically lose initiative if ambushed or caught-flat footed. +2 dice to Initiative.
  • Saw it Coming: Any time you attempt to dodge an Attack from someone lower than your position in Initiative, you may Exert your Mind to automatically succeed without a roll. You may use Source to make a Desperate Defense. There is still a maximum of one Desperate Defense per Round.
  • Seeing Double: The ranges of all your senses are multiplied by 4.
  • Sherlock: You may Exert your Mind to deduce a fragment of the chain of events that led to a particular perceivable detail of an individual or environment. This Effect reveals one piece of information that is not discoverable by a mundane investigation.
  • The Great Hunter: You may Exert your Mind and spend one minute activating this Effect to learn the location of any being or object you have an intuitive understanding of.

  • You can still be ambushed if you are incapacitated, stunned, or being kept unconscious supernaturally.
  • Sherlock: The amount of information received is limited at the GM's discretion but should at least contain some information that would not be learned from a mundane investigation.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
