Instead of food and water, you must consume Human Flesh! daily for sustenance. For every day you fail to consume it, you lose a point of Brawn. If your Brawn falls to 0 in this way, you die. Your Brawn is fully restored to normal as soon as you fulfill your dietary needs.

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

The Shadow; Eternal, Arid, and Barren
Luci's metabology has been changed, altered by Umbra's possession. With it, Luci is able to sustain herself purely using the Well's energy by consuming a medium that closely aligns with its nature. Such comes in the form of ink, which meshes with Luci's fascination with art combined by the inherently shadowy, underworldly, nature of the Well.
Spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. You must use up 1 liter of ink in order to activate this Effect.
For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, or air.
Your target is adapted to their current environment for one hour. While adapted, they do not suffer harm from heat, cold, pressure, or lack of oxygen in that environment, provided that challenge normally exists in that environment.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

This effect only has a visual component when hibernating. While hibernating the contractor becomes gray and the skin gets a stone-like appearance

The Afflicted heart has grown a black bulbus in the excess area's of the heart region, Not necessarily functioning as a second heart but as a amplifier. The Afflicted body experiences an immediate change as the bulbus begins rewriting their structure. Veins around the heart turns black whilst the bulbus begins providing an unknown substance through the body that fulfills its needs for Nutrients. The bulbus also provides air for the afflicted by making red blood cells produce their own oxygen rather than transport it.
Nutrients are also embedded into the specific blood cell that transports them, the bulbus generates it and allows the heart to transport it throughout the user.

You no longer require any food, water, or air in order to survive. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement automatically succeeds.
- In lieu of sleeping, once per day you may spend one hour meditating to recover a Mind Damage.

Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use bread or a fish to activate this Effect.
For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, or sleep. Any attempts to age your target fail. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement is made at -1 Difficulty.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Deployment Conditioning

You may go five times longer than a normal human without food, water, sleep, and air. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement is made at -1 Difficulty.
Undersea Explorer
The dark depths of the ocean are inhospitable for most... but not for you
While submerged, the aquamancer can fully sustain themselves from the waters around them, entirely forgoing food, drink, and even air. They may also enter a state of hibernation, remaining underwater and incapacitated for up to two months.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are submerged in water.
You no longer require any food, water, or air in order to survive. You no longer age naturally, and supernatural attempts to age you fail. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement automatically succeeds.
You may spend one minute entering a state of hibernation, during which you are inanimate and unaffected by any requirements for life. You may still perceive the outside world and may spend 3 Rounds "waking up" to end it.
