When The Cards Are Down "This is not fun at all!"
When he throws a card, whether it be metal tipped or your average day cards, they always seem to be lethal with every strike.
You gain the following benefits as long as As long as you are acting in self defense and you are engaged in combat with Cards.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing Cards.
You also gain the following effects:
- Finesse: You may limit the Severity of any Injury you inflict or determine a maximum Wound Level to inflict on the target, including Incapacitated.
- Jackie Chan: You do not receive a Difficulty penalty when throwing objects that are not designed for throwing.
- Junk Wolf: Thrown attacks with improvised thrown weapons deal +3 Weapon Damage.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

Card Throwing
Pick a card any card.
Be amazed as the magician wields a deck of simple tarot cards with all the poise and precision of a ninja's shurikens. Fear not, for they will not hit you, unless they want to.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Tarot cards.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing Tarot cards.
You also gain the following effects:
- Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
- Jackie Chan: You do not receive a Difficulty penalty when throwing objects that are not designed for throwing.
- Ricochet: You can make a thrown attack against a target behind cover so long as there is at least one exposed pathway to them.
Telekinetic Combat Mastery
No outward physical effect other than those already associated with Pull the Strings of Reality.
Manifested after some of the ancient reality-warper's power leaked out of the artifact and increased its combat power
You gain the following benefits as long as you only use it with Weapons controlled by your telekinesis, you are wearing this Artifact, and you are engaged in combat with thrown weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing thrown weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Bullet Parry: You may Defend against any attack in your firearmโs range using your firearm. Defending this way still costs a Reaction.
- Jackie Chan: You do not receive a Difficulty penalty when throwing objects that are not designed for throwing.
- Junk Wolf: Thrown attacks with improvised thrown weapons deal +3 Weapon Damage.
- Nobody Tosses A Dwarf: Anything you can lift, you can throw a normal distance. Any encumbrance penalty applies to this roll.
Powerful Chucking
"Listen. As much as I wanna sugarcoat this, I'll just say that I did not ask for a good throwing arm. Band. Armband thing. Not complaining, though."
Quite simply, this bracer, when worn, adds a powerful throw to anyone. When throwing an object in your hand, the red gemstone embedded in the bracer glows brightly as a red aura outlines the thrown weapon. The thrown weapon itself is empowered for the throw only.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact and you are engaged in combat with thrown weapons.
Your attacks with thrown weapons no longer have their damage capped, and do +3 Bonus Damage. Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

The spirits manifest around the items that are being controlled by the user's telekinesis, picking them up and guiding the projectiles to strike true. The shades are viewed easily in the corners of the eyes, in darkened rooms, or underneath the pale moonlight.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are using Appease the Dead and you are engaged in combat with thrown weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing thrown weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Jackie Chan: You do not receive a Difficulty penalty when throwing objects that are not designed for throwing.
- Junk Wolf: Thrown attacks with improvised thrown weapons always deal a minimum of 3 Weapon Damage.
Primal Force
Hurl to the horizon!
Being in tune with the power of the earth, Amaranth can lend this favor to objects to ease the Earth's hold over them. Allowing them to fly fast and true, even if they'd normally never be able to fly easily at all.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with thrown weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls utilizing thrown weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Jackie Chan: You do not receive a Difficulty penalty when throwing objects that are not designed for throwing.
- Nobody Tosses A Dwarf: Anything you can lift, you can throw 50 feet. Weapon damage for a heavy improvised thrown weapon is equal to the Brawn required to lift it minus 2 (minimum 0).
- Yeet!: You can throw things up to 100 extra feet per point of Brawn with no penalty. Anything thrown further than 100 feet will not land at its target until the next Round on your initiative.
