Rauð was fated to be a god in human form. A god of Iron, with impenetrable skin and destined to slay a million men. But when he was born frail and his blood did not clot, leaking rivers of red from the smallest cut, they realised the seers had been wrong.
They had not birthed a God of Iron, a metal man to break any blade that dared touch his flesh. They had made a God Of Blood, who would stain rivers so red with it their bank sands would be iron.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every day, starting once it becomes stabilized. You may also Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of a single stabilized Injury by 1. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Battle Scars caused by your Injuries will remain. Any Injuries you receive automatically count as a successful Makeshift Stabilization and do not deteriorate further.
Once an Injury has been reduced in Severity by two levels, it no longer benefits from this effect and instead heals as normal.

Adrenaline surged through Luciano's body, either a fight or flight reaction from the increasing pace of the footsteps behind him, or out of fear as he recognised the all-too familiar oily lining that began to coat his throat; a premonition of what was to come.
An unnatural pressure forced his head to lift upward and turn his eyes skyward, his mouth pushed open by an internal presence so severely that his upper and lower jaw no longer remained connected by bone, and instead merely by the stringy flesh and muscles that lie there.
All signs of where there had once been teeth and a tongue were now concealed by the dark glistening of a beak that lay much further into the unnaturally sized maw, and launching their way past said beak with freakish speed were a group of 8 tentacles: pushing impossibly through the narrow space as if fighting for freedom of Luciano's body, each about the width of his own leg.
At once, they all finally found their majority exit from his body, snaking around his form and pushing down onto solid ground in a spider-like formation, their length necessitating that Luciano's feet now floated off of the ground.
And then, the horrid octuplet mass began to gallop in unison, kicking up dust as the monstrous flesh at once became only a blur on the horizon
His father was a Gen-Wyld operative with a bunch of Cuttlefish DNA implanted into him that made him all Squiddy, grafted tentacle appendages and gills and what not. Enzo probably shouldn't have been allowed to procreate, who knows.
I'm sure that no further horrific changes will result from the unmonitored mutation and growth of a Trans-Sepiidian Blossom. Unfettered scientific progress my beloved
You gain the following benefits as long as Alt Form Activates.
Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is increased by 25 feet.
If your last Action was used for an all-out sprint or you are already accelerated, you may spend an Action to accelerate without a roll, adding 150 feet/Round (not affected by your speed bonus) to your sprint speed, to a max of an extra 300 feet/Round. As long as you stay at these speeds, you may use this distance per Round as your Free Movement.
Any terrain you traverse while accelerated must be passable by a standard vehicle at similar speeds. Stopping, turning sharply, or decelerating more than 150 feet/Round must be performed as an Action. Failing to decelerate with an Action (whether because of an obstacle, sudden unfavorable terrain, an Injury, or other event) deals 3 Damage which Armor does not reduce.
While using this Effect, you may carry one other being without affecting your Encumbrance, so long as you maintain contact with them for the duration and they consent or are grappled.
If you were moving quicker than you could without super speed and go a Round without using your Movement, you collapse and must remain immobile and resting for two Rounds.
Being an experienced sniper has given you enhanced vision.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
Emily smiles softly, chatting with her target, and lets out a long breath. In seconds, her partner starts to feel the effects...
Exert your Mind (unless your target is a member of the opposite sex) and spend an Action. Select a number of Living or Animate targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6 -3 dice.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will outwardly display their emotions in an obvious and visible way.
Actions they take may be extreme and out of character for them. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
If you choose to use Chain of Screaming, your target interacts with any valid target, they must roll Self-Control or be swept up in the same emotion. New targets pass it on as well, and so on, with the remaining duration decreasing by half until the chain stops.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is starting to pant softly. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
If Ains ever needed some manpower, upon activating this power a Ladeen bodyguard would appear, typically a stern male around the ages of 20-25 in relative peak condition, Ains would give the Bodyguard cash ($100).

The Thief casts a container's worth of fine powder into the air. The particulates are drawn to any sort of object that is designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc. The powder will not trigger these devices or interfere with their operation, but it does reveal their presence to the Thief.
The cloud drifts and swirls, subtly following the Thief for a minute.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up a container of fine powder in order to activate this Effect.
You automatically detect all object that are designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc within 50 feet of you for the next hour. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
The creature's claws rip through the poor, defenseless doctor's coat, opening deep gashes in their gut. It bares its fangs to lunge for the killing blow, but the doctor looks up at the attacker. Their eyes filed not with utter terror at their imminent demise, only a look of disappointment and pity. Touched, the monster hesitates. . .
This Effect activates whenever you receive a Severity 2 or higher Injury from an attack. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by remorse for hurting such a pure soul. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.

The mystic can meld their aura with another, allowing them to superimpose their being, physical and mental, into a target. Observers witness the mystic fading and entering their target's body as wisps of smoke, leaving no trace of their own body behind.
While inside, they can control their target's actions. Affected targets have no memory of the experience.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend an Action. Select a Living or Sapient target within arm's reach. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you possess your target for the Contested Outcome in minutes. The target has no control over their body or actions, and they are functionally unconscious through the entire possession, retaining no memory other than any Traumas they might obtain.
You do not leave your original body behind when you possess a target. When a possession ends, your original body will reappear at the host body’s same location. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.
Stats: During the possession, you use the host body’s Body rating, but your own Mind rating. Any rolls you make use the host body’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception but your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities. You gain the effects of any physical Assets and Liabilities they have. You cannot read the target’s mind or memories.
Gifts: You have access to and can use any of your own Powers which are intrinsic to your biology or physical body. You cannot access any Powers or other supernatural effects which the target has, unless they are intrinsic to the target’s biology or physical body.
Death: If the host body is killed or destroyed while you are still possessing it, you will die along with it.
Eviction: If you attempt to force your host to take actions which would violate one of their Limits or their instinct for self-preservation, they may resist by rolling Mind. If their Outcome is higher than or equal to the contested Outcome, the possession ends and you are evicted from their body.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
Driving rugged vehicles in a combat situation is second nature to the Soldier.
