Upon eating said food, the consumer body will start to morph and almost mutate. Slowly bending and bubbling until they gain the mutation. The food itself is stored in these qi bubbles and is then shrunken and compressed. Upon squeezing the bubble, the food slowly expands and become a full bowl/dish of the food. The food generally looks extremely appetizing.
bu fang will be strengthening his connection to the Qi in a more unorthodox way. Previously he was cultivating the way of the cardinal beast, the white tiger, red phoenix, golden dragon, and black turtle snake. Which requires a more balanced mindset as one needs to maintain a level qi over it. This allows him to be able to easily take traits of animals and imbued their excess Qi into the very food he cooks.
Now that he has gone through a specific event, his mind is no longer stable. the yang of the 4 cardinal beast, the dragon and phoenix are taking dominance. This lead to his qi becoming significantly more unstable and leads to his ability to condense the meal not as simple anymore. The qi merely disperse as its no longer balance and like all things in this world, it seeks balance.
In exchange for this though, his qi has resonated more with creatures and animals as most of them are beings of yang qi. He can directly manipulate the qi within a creature. This becomes practically as if he's molding his own Qi when they're already under the influence of his Qi as the yang qi are dominant and aggressive.

When activated, the Bloomguard Sigil shimmers visibly, its petals unfolding with a soft metallic hum. Pale, translucent vines of golden energy sprout from the artifact, wrapping around the chosen target in a protective spiral. The barrier appears as a faint, ethereal dome, barely visible unless it catches the light — like a soap bubble made of starlight. To any bystander, it is immediately clear that something supernatural is at play, and that the source of the protection is the brooch itself, now brightly glowing.
Forged from ancient rites long buried beneath the ruins of forgotten temples, the Bloomguard Sigil is a relic of divine craftsmanship, a marriage of mortal ingenuity and celestial will. It channels the unyielding defense of the legendary Aegis, but tempers it with the gentleness of new life — a balance between war and wisdom. Only those who understand the sacred bond between protection and sacrifice can awaken its true potential. When called upon, it weaves a barrier not from steel or stone, but from pure intent: a living testament to the wearer's will to defend what matters most.

Zephyren gathers mystical energy into his hands and cups them so that the wings on the objects he's holding align. Blowing on them causes the spirit of a firebird to materialize and fly at the target.
On the firebird:
It's said that the firebird brings bad luck to its captor, though Zephyren's luck is horrible enough that he wouldn't notice a little more of it. Besides, he's chucking it at someone else, so if anything the bad luck with transfer to them first. It's not an actual firebird that appears, just the energy of it, gathered from the air.
On energy:
In his childhood, people would always talk about 'qi' and how it flows together to create a unified being. Apparently, deities also have 'qi', as if it is one of the foundations of the universe. He's had some practice trying to manipulate it through tai chi, though he was never really good at it. Zephyren's enhanced senses, combined with this gift's affinity with the firebird, have allowed him to pinpoint and gather the scattered energy of perished firebirds. Bringing them together, he can nearly mimic their rebirth for just long enough to enact their wrath on those who threaten him.
On voices:
Zephyren hates to admit it, but he doesn't bode well with people raising his voice at him. The noise grates at his ears, and he starts to get flighty. It's because being yelled at usually entails worse consequences in an Asian household. Words are never enough and Zephyren can only start to expect the worst. Now it's even worse because he's found that the emotion behind someone raising their voice spikes the surrounding qi.

The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

The pyro points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.
