This charm typically comes on a necklace or bracelet of some kind, potentially with other consumable rune charms. When an enemy approaches in an otherwise calm situation it becomes noticeably warm to the user, imbuing them with instinctive knowledge on the relative location of the new nearby threat. The holder may choose to release the stored magic in the charm, causing it to fracture across the embossed rune, but giving them an expanded and innate sense of all threatening beings within its sphere of influence for an hour. This renders the charm inert.

An inexperienced Isaac performed a ritual early into his study, one of his firsts. Looking back, it was stupid of him to attempt a ritual like this, it could have easily killed him, and condemned his soul for eternity. This ritual involved rubbing the ashes from cremated eyeballs on his own, under a supermoon. These eyes came from a lesser god known as Macula the Fearful, a lesser god that was killed by another, Issac was merely the vulture feasting on his corpse.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all undead beings within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no undead beings targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no undead beings within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see phatom eyes manifest over your own, the eye sockets filled with thousands of quivering eyeballs.

This Effect is obviously Alien and eye-catching across its range to those witnessing it, and you are obviously the source.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Trace the lines of the runic design while reciting the words inscribed on the reverse side of the charm. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.

You automatically detect all beings who intend you harm within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no beings who intend you harm targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Chanting in latin and hand signs. You must use up Hand Written Prayers in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Man eating monsters within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no Man eating monsters targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

The humming usually reflects the general mood of those in it's initial range. An angry crowd will cause the user to feel compelled to hum a loud and dissonant tone, while more peaceful groups will inspire light and steadier tones. If there's no mood to read, or there is a sufficient mix of emotions, the caster will end up humming the last song that was stuck in their head. Mercifully, it is guaranteed to not get stuck again from this exercise.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Take a knee, close your eyes, hum whatever come naturally, and trace a circle in the ground with the butt of your gun. You must actively and obviously use A.38 Special Revolver to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all fearful humans and murderers within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. This Effect cannot be used unless you are unconscious.

You automatically detect all faye within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no faye targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no faye within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

All faye who you can sense are equally able to sense you.
