Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You create a hemispherical dome of ________ originating at your Location, with a radius of 60 feet. and lasting for 5 minutes. While active, you are always fully affected by your zone as if you were standing in it. The area inside your zone is affected in the following ways:
- Disorienting: Any time someone moves within or through the zone, they must roll Mind at Difficulty 8. If they fail or botch, they move a similar distance in a different direction of the GM’s choice.
- Slippery: All movement distances are halved within the zone. Anyone who wishes to move further than their Free Movement within a Round must roll Dexterity + Athletics. If they fail, their movement is limited to their Free Movement and they fall down.
- Suppressed Hearing: The zone is rendered completely silent. No one inside of the zone can hear any meaningful sound, and no meaningful sound escapes the zone. Rolls that rely on hearing fail automatically, and rolls that benefit from hearing are at -3 dice.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Ballsy - Roll self control to not immediately activate your domain expansion when someone tries to intimidate you.
- The Effect does not follow you after you activate it.
- If you select a location at the edge of your range, you will be just outside the zone once the Effect is activated
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

as you grab onto a flammable object you absorb it and fire begins to spread out from you consuming everything in it's wake. when it is close to finishing the fire will form the shape of a demonic fox and swallow all things that died in the fire and then disperse
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. You must use up something highly flamable in order to activate this Effect.
You create a hemispherical dome of the entire area is set ablaze originating at your Location, with a radius of 60 feet. and lasting for as long as you maintain Concentration. The area inside your zone is affected in any number of the following ways:
- Danger Zone: The zone contains scorching flames. At the end of each Round, everyone in the zone must roll Body at Difficulty 8. Anyone who fails or botches receives a Severity-1 Injury.
Any time someone leaves your zone, they remain affected by your Zone Effects for an additional 3 Rounds as if they were still within the zone.
- You must retain Concentration to keep up the effect; if your Concentration is interrupted, the effect will end.
- The Effect does not follow you after you activate it.
- If you select a location at the edge of your range, you will be just outside the zone once the Effect is activated
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Spatial-Temporal Grafting
We live in the 4th dimensional space...
With the soul orb, you can throw it up into the air, crushing a bottle of ink, the ink spread out becoming the inky darkness of space and the glass shards becoming the stars of the environment... grafting his own space and his own time directly into the current enviroment.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You may choose not to pay this Effect’s activation cost. When you activate this Effect, if it is active from a previous activation where you didn’t pay, that Effect ends.
You create a hemispherical dome of Outer space and Constellation originating at your Location, with a radius of 60 feet. and lasting for 5 minutes. The area inside your zone is affected in any number of the following ways:
- Disorienting: Any time someone moves within or through the zone, they must roll Mind at Difficulty 8. If they fail or botch, they move a similar distance in a different direction of the GM’s choice.
- Suppressed Vision: The zone is fully blocked from view. Nothing within the zone may see anything or be seen from the outside. Any rolls that rely on sight fail automatically, and any rolls that benefit from sight are made at -3 dice.
- Overwhelming: Anyone inside the zone cannot Exert their Mind, and Mind rolls made within the zone are at -2 dice.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their body and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Battle Scar: Vertigo and Weak Stomach. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.
- Affected targets may still spend Source.
- The Effect does not follow you after you activate it.
- If you select a location at the edge of your range, you will be just outside the zone once the Effect is activated
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
The Villain's Lair
"Haha! You're in my house now!"
The final boss lets out an enraged scream that seems to reverberate with hundreds of voices alongside his own, turning the very environment around him ashen and intensely hot.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You create a hemispherical dome of ashy air and molten, rocky ground originating at your Location, with a radius of 60 feet. and lasting for 5 minutes. You are fully immune to the effects of your zone. The area inside your zone is affected in the following ways:
- Danger Zone: The zone contains scorching heat and volcanic debris. At the end of each Round, everyone in the zone must roll Body at Difficulty 8. Anyone who fails or botches receives a Severity-1 Injury.
- Obscured Vision: The zone is partially blocked from view. Anything within the zone will have difficulty seeing anything or being seen from the outside. Any rolls that rely on sight are made at -3 dice, and rolls that would benefit from sight are rolled at -1 dice.
- Slippery: All movement distances are halved within the zone. Anyone who wishes to move further than their Free Movement within a Round must roll Dexterity + Athletics. If they fail, their movement is limited to their Free Movement and they fall down.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see your eyes turn red as you channel the enraged screams of all those you've wronged.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
- When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
- The Effect does not follow you after you activate it.
- If you select a location at the edge of your range, you will be just outside the zone once the Effect is activated
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Dance of the blood
"You look like a fool trying to avoid bloody rain"
A dome like summons from the sky with a blood like texture incasing everyone in a giant dome with a radius of 20 feet. Strong winds start and a boiling blood blizzard starts. It will harm anything and anyone in the radius including allies.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action.
You create a hemispherical dome of Boiling Blood blizzard in a blood dome originating at your Location, with a radius of 20 feet. and lasting for 5 minutes. The area inside your zone is affected in any number of the following ways:
- Danger Zone: The zone contains the blood is boiling. At the end of each Round, everyone in the zone must roll Body at Difficulty 8. Anyone who fails or botches receives a Severity-1 Injury.
- Slippery: All movement distances are halved within the zone. Anyone who wishes to move further than their Free Movement within a Round must roll Dexterity + Athletics. If they fail, their movement is limited to their Free Movement and they fall down.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: a red patch around my eye.

- If you select a location at the edge of your range, you will be just outside the zone once the Effect is activated

Smoke Bomb
A Chef never burns anything unless it’s on purpose
The Ninja always prepares a few smoke bombs ahead of time to get out of sticky situations. They can fill a room with smoke in an instant and last long enough for the Ninja to make an escape or find an opening for attack.
Spend an Action and use up this charcoal.
You create a hemispherical dome of smoke originating at your Location, with a radius of 20 feet. and lasting for 5 minutes. The area inside your zone is affected in the following ways:
- Suppressed Vision: The zone is fully blocked from view. Nothing within the zone may see anything or be seen from the outside. Any rolls that rely on sight fail automatically, and any rolls that benefit from sight are made at -3 dice.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
- The Effect does not follow you after you activate it.
- This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.
- If you select a location at the edge of your range, you will be just outside the zone once the Effect is activated
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
