Legacy Power: The Hunter's Mark

Description

After watching his prey for at least 10 minutes, Lucien's eyes lose their irises and the pupils become a deep red with a symbol resembling a crosshairs appearing around them. During this state he enters a state of supernatural awareness and is able to keenly pinpoint his prey's weak points. When using this power however, Lucien has seen horrible things and atrocities that humans can commit, causing him to have an overwhelming paranoia and making it extremely difficult to be around other people for too long without panicking.

System

Passive, always in effect. Your Perception rating is increased by [[perception-bonus]]. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

A given Contractor may have a maximum of one Mythic attribute. This Power can only be taken by Contractors who have purchased the fifth level of Perception.

Enhancements

  • Weak Points (You may use Perception in place of Dexterity on Attack rolls.)
  • Always Watching (Any Perception rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions.)

Drawbacks

  • Can't Unsee (Trauma rolls are at +2 Difficulty.)
  • Samson (A marking or physical trait is the source of your power. Losing it removes all benefits for the next 2 months. If someone witnesses you using this Effect, they get a Perception check to determine the source of your power.)
    • Source of your Power - Lucien's eyes
  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - Must be stalking a target unseen for ten minutes
  • Maddening (Possession of this Gift causes a Trauma that cannot be cured by any means. The chosen Trauma must be likely to come up on a Contract.)
    • Trauma - You must roll mind to work with anyone other than yourself.
