Your skin turns purple, cracks, and crumbles away in scales, the Gore Magala bursting from your corpse in a spray of blood and viscera that turns to scaly dust. The Gore Magala is a shadowy dragon that cloaks itself in its own dark wings, its purple and black scales absorbing nearly all light.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action.
You transform into Gore Magala for two hours. You are unable to revert to your original form at will and must wait for the duration to fully elapse before returning to normal. See the Extended System text for stats.

Inhaling this spray causes sharp pain to surge through your nose and towards your mind. Your sense of smell goes numb and you get a strong headache. Your eyes begin to water and turn yellow.
A medical drug formula made by copying the ones used in the military and further modified by commissioned eggheads. This nasal spray acts as an antibiotic as well as an irritant - attacking any tissue that didn't heal properly and forcing the body give it another shot. It also attacks your nose and brain by proximity, causing a lot of pain, and colouring your eyes yellow due to the chemical's pigment.
Take a Severity-1 Injury, use up this nasal spray (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7), and spend a minute. Select a Battle Scar on yourself to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect.
Odar suddenly gets a pounding headache, and glimpses a vision of the cryptid that triggered their sense. They then have the urge to find and eliminate this cryptid before it kills again.
This Effect activates whenever a cryptid kills any living thing. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour.
You automatically detect the closest of any cryptids within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction, but you are not aware of their exact location.]]

Phos in a blood ritual has bound four minor spirits to her, in order to gain control over basic alchemy.
While she uses this power, faint vestiges of the four spirits can be vaguely seen around her as the creations form.

Setsuke's eye twitches briefly, and her smile widens into a grotesque grin, as a small finger-width protrusion, slimy and black as ink extends from her face, either out of the ear, eye, or nostril, deforming slightly to make room. Highly flexible, and free of bones or hard cartilage, it can change shape and stretch up to 30 feet, grabbing items, grappling targets, or impaling them- though its no stronger than her at this point.
Her body is not fully accustomed to the readjustments needed, and there is the risk that her face will fail to rearrange properly- causing a nasty deformity (or loss of eye, ear, something else on the face) in the process.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand. Lasts two hours.
Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.
Your extra appendage can be used to attack in exactly the same manner as a Rapier.
Your appendage is capable of bending and squishing in normally-impossible ways. It may fit through any gap that is not water-tight and retain its functionality.
Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.
Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.

Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
While using this Effect, you may carry one other being without affecting your Encumbrance, so long as you maintain contact with them for the duration and they consent or are grappled.
The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when activated, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
