Blackwyche
An ancient Aztec style gold coin, one side showing a skull and crossbones, the other inscribed with the words: "Cast into the sea"
A frigate style ship, fitted for war. The hull is painted black and seemingly scorched by eternal flames, it has 2 masts, and three flaming sails, painted with a red dragon. It is fitted out with 4 cannons and enough supplies for battle. The wheel and capstan are scorched black with a brand of flame on them. To finish off the looks it is adorned by a golden skeleton figurehead, with eyes of flame and holding a spear.
When you cast the coin into the sea it will sink, but soon from the depths will rise the ship in all its glory. When it rises it is fitted with a crew of skeletons to help him sail it. (Crew of One flavoring, no actual benefits from this)

Upon reaching into his pocket he found a gold coin, one side showing a skull and crossbones, the other inscribed with the words: "Cast into the sea." Hesitantly he followed the instructions. When he cast it into the sea nothing happened at first. Disappointed he was about to head back when he heard a sound echo from the sea. From the sound arose a might ship, in all its glory the Blackwyche lunged out of the sea, fitted with canons and a crew of skeletons ready to sail.
This Artifact can be used as a Frigate. It is roughly the same size as a Frigate but can be collapsed into Gold Coin and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
This Frigate has 4 cannons, 60 cannonballs, 15 chain shot, 15 grapeshot, 5 kegs of grog, 5 gunpowder kegs, 50ft of rope, and standard living accommodations as well as barrels for storage. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.
You also gain the following effects:
- Crew of One: You alone may stand in for an entire crew if the vehicle would normally be piloted by more than one.
- Steady As She Goes: The motion of your vehicle never causes your passengers dice penalties, and you do not suffer dice penalties from the unsteadiness of any vehicle you are riding in.
- No Muffler: Any stealth rolls made to hide your vehicle automatically fail, and any rolls made to notice your vehicle automatically succeed.
- If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

This Artifact can be used as a Suzuki Hayabusa. It is roughly the same size as a Suzuki Hayabusa but can be collapsed into a choker with a compound bow emblem and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
This Suzuki Hayabusa has a coat of Black 3.0 paint and offroad tires. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.
You also gain the following effects:
- Afterburner: Your vehicle has a 25% faster top speed and you may Exert your Mind to accelerate to its top speed in a single Round.
- Daredevil: Damage you and your passengers take from vehicle collisions is reduced by 2, and any Injuries suffered are limited to a maximum of Severity 4.
- Drive-By: You may drive or pilot your vehicle as a Free Action, without taking any penalty on other Actions.

This Artifact can be used as a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. It is roughly the same size as a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and just as difficult to conceal.
This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda has Racing Modifications and enhanced durability. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.
You also gain the following effects:
- Amphibious: Your vehicle may move on land as well as under water at its normal speed. If your vehicle includes an enclosed space, it will function as an airtight, pressurized cockpit.
- Daredevil: Damage you and your passengers take from vehicle collisions is reduced by 2, and any Injuries suffered are limited to a maximum of Severity 4.
- Drive-By: You may drive or pilot your vehicle as a Free Action, without taking any penalty on other Actions.

Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their body and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Battle Scar: Tinnitus. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next day.

This item is a living thing. When targeted, it counts as a Living Creature in addition to its other target types. If destroyed or abandoned for more than two days, it dies and becomes unusable.

If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Meek: Should anyone raise their voice at you, roll a Self-control roll in order to engage in further conversation, and not immediately excuse yourself from conversing with them for an hour.. Not only does it include a full science laboratory, it can be collapsed into an incredibly small canvas cube and easily transported. The mad scientist may pilot the ship alone or rely on its autopilot features for ultimate convenience.
This Artifact can be used as a blimp. It is roughly the same size as a blimp but can be collapsed into a phone-sized canvas cube and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
This blimp has full science laboratory, bullet-proof envelope, and ample parachutes. Any roll to pilot this vehicle receives +2 dice.
You also gain the following effects:
- Crew of One: You alone may stand in for an entire crew if the vehicle would normally be piloted by more than one.
- Mind of its Own: This vehicle can move and take Actions without you driving it. It has seven dice for all Drive rolls.
- No Muffler: Any stealth rolls made to hide your vehicle automatically fail, and any rolls made to notice your vehicle automatically succeed.
