When Harold Polk activates Crime Scene Sense, there’s no outward display of power. Instead, his demeanor subtly changes—his eyes narrow slightly, and his gaze becomes more focused and intense, as if he’s honing in on something that others cannot perceive. The world around him seems to slow down in his mind as his heightened awareness kicks in.
As he walks through an area, seemingly mundane details start to stand out to him. Scuff marks on the floor, an out-of-place object, or a faint odor all become clues that lead him to the evidence of a crime. His mind automatically connects these details, almost like pieces of a puzzle falling into place. It’s as if an internal compass directs him toward the evidence, though to an observer, it might just look like he’s following his instincts.
When he encounters hidden or disguised evidence, his mind instinctively understands the methods used to conceal it. He might notice a slight irregularity in the way a drawer closes or the faint impression of a hidden compartment behind a wall. This knowledge seems to come from a place of deep intuition, as if he’s simply “tuning in” to the crime rather than discovering something supernatural.
To those around him, Harold’s actions might seem like incredible deductive reasoning or a stroke of genius—a natural gift for solving mysteries rather than a display of any otherworldly power.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute.
You automatically detect all Evidence Of Crimes within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.
If no Evidence Of Crimes targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.
The means by which any Evidence Of Crimes are hidden or disguised is made clear to you, as well as how to access them if they are secured. This includes objects secured via the Stash Effect.
The boy touches his surroundings imparting some of the curse that fallows him into it. when another target triggered the trap the curse spreads to them bringing instant misfortune, sharp objects fly at them, they fall down stairs their phone explodes, or other damaging mishaps.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely within 50 feet. This trap lasts one day or until triggered or disarmed. Roll Intellect + Occult Difficulty 6.
The trap looks like a faint black mist. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid or destroy it.
When setting the trap, specify the condition under which it will trigger. The trap can trigger against a target in the trapped region. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4.
The phantom's physical form fades out and becomes intangible, leaving behind nothing but a ghostly silhouette.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend three Actions performing the following ritual: Must carve, paint, and speak a short runic word. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. Communicate a command to your target. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your target will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in hours. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
They will be unaware that they are under any sort of compulsion until the effect wears off, but they will appear obviously mind-controlled the entire time to anyone observing them. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action and a conditional request. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-endangering or self-destructive. The Effect ends if following your command would cause a target to cross one of their Limits in a way that would necessitate a Trauma roll.
The ring keeps me alive—though not my flesh. I’m just bones, really. I don’t feel hunger or the need to breathe, but I still can, almost out of instinct. My body’s held together by something I don’t fully understand. A faint glow pulses from the ring, keeping me from falling apart, but it’s not warmth—it’s like a constant reminder that I’m not truly living, but not quite dead either. My skeleton feels solid enough, but there’s something missing, something fragile about it all.

When the user touches a key of some sort, an appropriate keyhole will form in the middle of their chest, right above the heart. Putting the key in and turning it will create an opaque black opening around where the keyhole was. After reaching into the opening to store or retrieve an item, the hole closes, the key turns back and will fall out.
The name only refers to the place of the stash, it's not actually part of the body. It's more of an extension of your mind, death will result in dropping all stored items at once. Time does not move inside the stash, items will leave in the *exact* condition they entered. The key used to open the stash doesn't need to be an actual key, just something whose primary purpose is opening locks, a key card for example.
Spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use some sort of key to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.

Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you cause a major Battle Scar instead of an augmentation. Your target must make a Trauma roll to reap the benefits of this Effect. They may choose to Resist the Effect and not make the roll. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
