Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien, Non-Sapient, Animate target within 20 feet.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands can be complex and multi-layered, though they must still be specific. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the creatures, body spasms as if it’s fighting for its life before it ultimately loses, said fight and its eyes glaze over anyone who witnesses has a sense that I have done something horrible to said creature and Is immediately off put by me.
Jason has spent years as an army sniper. His skill with his sniper rifle is unparalleled. When he is "in the zone" he appears to be oblivious to his surroundings.
You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with firearms.
+2 dice to all firearms rolls.
You also gain the following effects:
Jenn reaches into some pocket or other location that probably shouldn't fit a whole knife in it (let's be honest - usually it's her cleavage) and pulls out up to three knives to immediately start juggling with. She usually winks, too, but mostly observers can't tell through her cool shades.
Spend a Quick Action.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store throwing knives in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a ziploc snack bag (1 liter), and you may store up to 5 of them at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
Kerri points a laser pointer towards a target, and a cat-sized-and-shaped fire springs into life, very clearly attracted to the laser. This flame cat can also be shaped from existing fires. While the pointer is active it remains in the shape of a cat, pouncing towards the little red dot. When the laser pointer is not active, the flames return to normal.
Kerri, in her research on occult topics, spent a lot of time focusing her research on spirits and demons associated with fire. She knows enough not to mess with powerful ones, however, she discovered that all fires have individual spirits, and these spirits can be shaped and manipulated to some degree. She discovered that she can control them by treating them like cats, which in turn shapes them into the form of a cat. She is still practicing her control over this, having only recently gained this power, and is steadily learning to control bigger and bigger fires.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 20 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). You must actively and obviously use a laser pointer to activate this Effect.
You may start a new fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. You may create fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 3 Damage per Round, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any Damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
You may Exert your Mind to move a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace that is within 20 feet to another location within 20 feet. You may Exert your Mind to draw a line which a fire up to twice as large as a fire in a residential fireplace cannot cross.
I take my hood (usually my hoodie but any hood should suffice) and pull it up over my head. Without tearing the fabric, the first sign of a change is any notable ears the form I'm taking may have, next a tail, then my face begins to change. Next my hands and feet change as my body changes size and takes on a coating of feathers, fur, scales, or otherwise. As I shift, my clothing and gear fade away, with my hooded clothing vanishing last. The same process goes in reverse when I turn back to human form, but rather than taking a minute to become an animal it only takes moments to revert.
The terms 'morphic resonance' and 'morphogenetic field' weren't originally coined as something connecting to animals, but they've come to symbolize a connection on a pseudo-mystical level between all animal life including humans. Is this how a pwca shapeshifts? Potentially. They have a connection, whether it's mystical, somehow biological, or otherwise. This connection lets them beccome animals, the most common being a horse, but also plenty of others such as rabbits, goats, cats, and dogs. These are just the animals humans noted in their encounters with them, and each pwca is different. Is their human form even their true 'default'? Probably not. For argument's sake, Sarah is a pwca, and that means she can learn all sorts of animal shapes as she gets better at it.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use hood to activate this Effect.
