Ellis has spent so much time working with explosives that he can distinctly remember how they smell, to the point where he can pinpoint the location of any explosives or volatile chemicals that are nearby simply by sniffing the air.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all explosives / volatile chemicals within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
If no explosives / volatile chemicals targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Phantom is a gambling man. Yet, he also has a intuition for what he usually does. Using this intuition, he hones in on security systems, allowing Neo-Genis to turn this special gift of his into a power. Then, he uses a card to tell his fortune, spinning it and fiddling with it as he catches the card and glances at this fortune, telling him what to watch for, for the next 2 hours.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: throwing the card around, flipping it through the fingers as phantom whispers "cmon baby, show me my fortune today~". You must actively and obviously use Card to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You automatically detect all Surveillance Devices within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
If no Surveillance Devices targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Through the science that founded radar combined with a little magic, this item can find all sorts of strange things hidden in the world around you and when you are out and about on the hunt you'll be glad you brought your SEAL.
Louis's introduction to the contracting world being so rife with artifacts has made him question what else may be out there, and curious to find more, he's begun digging into ways to do so. This gift is the harbinger's answer to his request for a way to sate that curiosity.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Transcribing details about the area into the scanner. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You automatically detect all Artifacts and Cursed Objects within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.
Even while this Effect is not active, if any Artifacts or Cursed Objects come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Dowsing
"Ah...yes, I feel something this way..."
The ancient art of Dowsing allows the Psychic Sensitive to tune into the vibrations of hidden or lost things. Traditionally used to find hidden groundwater, the practice grew to find other resources, with Dowsing being employed to look for oils reserves or gold.
Items of great sentimental value shine like a beacon to this method of Divination, as well as hidden resources, such as caches of food/supplies, stores of groundwater, or similar. This time honored tradition requires a dowsing rod, either a forked stick or tuning fork, to function.

The Thief casts a container's worth of fine powder into the air. The particulates are drawn to any sort of object that is designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc. The powder will not trigger these devices or interfere with their operation, but it does reveal their presence to the Thief.
The cloud drifts and swirls, subtly following the Thief for a minute.
