The stash is a cracked treasure chest leaking blackness. When an item is stashed, it becomes an image on Vel's skin, then flows into the void, causing a star to appear. Each star corresponds to an item Vel has stored in an extra dimensional place their power made.
Original
The stash is a closed treasure chest tattooed on Vel’s chest/ abdomen. They can flip the latch on it by rubbing a finger over it, then stash by placing the item to their tattoo, or reaching into their tattoo to pull items out
Vel can also activate it mentally, causing the chest to move around their body, and quickly become equipped.
The tattoo changed. Growing as Vel's power forced more energy into it, beyond what the original concept could take.
Original:
This power is an application of Vel’s ability to enchant items with effects related to their symbolism applied to ink and a drawing on their own body.
The tattoo must be of a storage device
The ritual involves
- getting the tattoo
- getting a large object that matches the tattoo in appearance
- do a ritual which involves the destruction of the large box
- have around many references to secret stashes, and objects that are bigger inside than out.
Although this is themed as an enchantment, Vel cannot do it to others or multiple times (without a separate gift), it’s just flavor for how they managed to get this power.
Spend a Quick Action.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a rolling luggage bag (60 liters), and you may store up to 7 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
Harriet looks into a mirror, then to the object she wishes to store, then back to the mirror. The mirror's surface appears to reflect a tree (but Harriet is the only one who can see it), and the object is gone, grabbed by a mess of tree branches into nothingness.
Harriet uses a mirror to briefly open a physical path into the Mansus (the same place she summons all of her creatures from), there, in the Woods, is a lone tree. It's branches are a wild, tangled mess, rife with lost items. Harriet knows the secret you must tell it to be allowed what you have lost back into your possession.
Spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Mirror to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within 30 feet of you to your stash. You may only stash targets which are not possessed by someone else, and are freestanding and unattached.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
Choose an Object which could fit inside a large luggage bag (up to 75 liters). It must be Non-Alien and generic. You cannot create explosives. You cannot create firearms.
Roll Perception + Crafts to fabricate up to 5 copies of your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. Your created items no longer expire, and will last until they are destroyed.
Plunging the blade into her chest, Kurumi is enveloped with a dark red aura and is transformed into Dark Kurumi. In this state, her eyes glow red, her hair gains red highlights, and black vein-like markings appear on her skin.
Despite stabbing herself in the heart during her transformation, in the end, Kurumi somehow suffers nothing more than a surface wound. This doesn't stop her from feeling really cool when she does it.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend an Action.
You transform into Dark Kurumi for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Dark Kurumi, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2, your Dexterity is increased by 2, and your Perception is increased by 2. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
Pulling a piece of graph paper whether small or big, the paper would begin to inscribe itself the blueprints of the supposed object onto the paper rather quickly as it is coming from the calculations, geometry, and knowledge of Mason as it is written down straight from his mind. It is a tiring process but when complete the paper would begin to fold itself into that object and will then slowly change, solidify, and morph into the object itself with nothing resembling, feeling or sounding anything like paper but only what the object is.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend 1 minute. You must use up A Page of Graphing paper in order to activate this Effect.
Choose an Object which could fit inside a regular backpack (up to 27 liters). It must be Non-Alien and generic. You cannot create explosives. You cannot create firearms.
Roll Intellect + Crafts to fabricate up to 5 copies of your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. The created item lasts 2 hours.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
A typical light blue suit that when imbued with mystical energy turns the wearer invisible to human sight and makes them hard to detect.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.
You and any clothes or equipment you are wearing are obscured from sight for the next 10 minutes. All attempts to detect you via sight fail. Detection attempts via other senses where sight would assist are rolled at a -2 dice penalty.
Entering Combat or being Injured does not cause the Effect to end early. Anyone you attack will immediately notice you; anyone else may re-roll to notice you each time you take a Combat action, at -1 Difficulty per Combat action you have taken. When the Effect ends, it is disabled for 1 hour.
The Necromancer temporarily assumes the form of their own corpse, complete with maggots, spilled entrails, and exposed bone. They cannot move while transformed, but their empty eye sockets see as well as ever.
Exert your Mind and Spend an Action.
You transform into your own corpse for one minute. While transformed, you may control the functioning of the object you have transformed into. You can perceive your surroundings as normal. You can be targeted as a Non-Living, Sapient Object.
If you are damaged while transformed, the damage is realized when you return to normal. If you are damaged before you transform, your inanimate form will appear partially damaged.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
The time-traveler spins the second hand on one of their watches and speeds up until they are a blur.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a watch to activate this Effect.
Lasts 1 minute. Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.
Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
The time-twister presses a button on one of their wristwatches, and, in a flash of orange light, disappears. They have skipped 12 seconds forward in time. To them, the travel is instantaneous, but everyone else must wait until they reappear.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a clock or watch to activate this Effect.
You phase out of reality for 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
When you phase out, you may bring up to 1 additional target in arm's reach with you.
The vampire sucks a copious amount of blood from a human and replenishes their own cursed flesh.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. This Effect cannot be used unless you drink blood directly from a human until it injures them. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on yourself.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see you drink blood directly from the vein.
The time-twister spins a dial on one of her watches, slowing time for everyone but her and one other person.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a watch or clock to activate this Effect.
While using this Effect, you may carry one other being without affecting your Encumbrance, so long as you maintain contact with them for the duration and they consent or are grappled.
