Description

When you put on your Boots of Blinding Speed, you run super fast; unfortunately, your speed is so great that the world blurs around you and sight is nearly impossible.

System

While wearing the Boots of Blinding Speed, you may Exert your mind to run six times times your normal speed for 1 Hour.

While this Power is active, you do not suffer any sort of exhaustion. Avoiding unexpected obstacles requires a Dexterity + Athletics roll. Noticing anything dangerous requires a Perception + Alertness roll, Difficulty 9. Your actions are at -2 dice while going above your normal speed.

Enhancements

  • Piece of Cake (You may activate this Effect as a Free Action, meaning you may activate it and take an Action in the same Round of Combat.)

Drawbacks

  • Tunnel Vision (While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.)
  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
    • Focus - The Boots of Blinding Speed
  • Blur (While running, the world around you turns to a blur, and all Perception rolls are made at -3 dice.)
