Legacy Power: De-Neuralizer
"Did you ever flashy-thing me?"
A 1 Gift Memory Manipulation Power created by ExampleRobot.
Description
The De-Neuralizer is a small silver device that can emanate a bright flash of light. Any being that looks into it with uncovered eyes has their most recent period of the their memory set into a highly over-writable state for a moment. While in this state, their memories may be overwritten at will.
System
Exert your Mind, choose a target within Arm's Reach who is looking directly into the device, and spend 1 Action activating this Power. Make a contested roll, chosen at Power creation. Successes determine the amount of detail and completeness of the memory alteration. Only the most recent One Hour period may be altered. Any individuals within 30 feet of the target who are also looking directly into the device are also affected.
This power does not give you the ability to read the target’s mind, so the detail with which you can alter the target’s memory is limited to your knowledge of what they know.
Enhancements
- AOE (Affects all potential targets in a 30 foot range of the primary target. This includes allies and the power user, if applicable.)
- Amnesia (You may have the target forget some or all of the affected without swapping in a replacement memory.)
