Description

Raze will smile to himself and pull out a glass, then pouring the red liquid into it. "Hey, would you like some juice?" "What's that?" The target asks. "Oh, it's just-" Raze starts before a voice interrupts, singing "Juice That Makes Your Head Explode!~" "Um... Should I be concerned about that?" The target asks, now very suspicious of the juice. "Not at all! It's perfectly safe." Raze responds calmly. "But- you just said it'll make my head explode." The target retorts. "I didn't say any of that. You're just hearing things!" Raze chuckled. "So why not just have a sip of this juice? Maybe it'll clear your head a little." The target will sigh and take the juice, sipping it. "Huh. It's not that bad." In an instant, their head will spontaneously explode into chunky bits as Raze picks up the dropped glass, cleaning it off and walking away while whistling a tune to himself.

System

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within Arm's Reach, and roll Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6. The target may defend by rolling Mind, Difficulty 6 as a Free Action.

Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's Outcome and the defensive roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Reduced to 1/2, rounded up.


Enhancements

  • Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)
  • Curse (Instead of taking effect immediately, you may apply this Power as a curse. Specify a condition that, when fulfilled, causes the suspended effect to occur. The target is informed that they have been cursed and of the condition.)

Drawbacks

  • Biohazard (This power only affects Living targets.)
  • Consumable (Instead of using this Power directly on a target, you must prepare it as a consumable material. Anyone who drinks or eats a full dose is fully affected by the Power and cannot make any resistance rolls. Prepared doses expire in 24 hours.)
