Description

The Technomancer can harness the innate capabilities of any television to drain the brain of someone watching it.

System

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, and choose a target within 45 feet who is looking at a TV screen. You make a contested Wits + Computers roll against the target. If you succeed, the target's Intelligence is reduced by half your outcome (rounded up). This reduction is permanent, though their Intelligence can be purchased back up using experience. You cannot reduce Attributes to zero.

Enhancements

  • Waste (Instead of success draining one Attribute point, the number of Attribute points you drain is equal to half your Outcome, rounded up.)
  • Destroy Attribute (Effect is permanent. The stat may be bought back up at its normal cost / rate.)

Drawbacks

  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - Target must be looking at a TV screen
