Legacy Power: Judgement

Preacher has embraced both God and the devil giving him a spot outside the war as a bounty hunter. His weapon was handed to him a worn bible he now always carries.

Description

The priest looks at a man in front of him deciding his is a sinner. He closes his bible and the man's clothes alit. "GOD HAS GIVEN ME THE RIGHT TO JUDGE THE SINNERS BE PURIFIED." Preacher opens his bible and looks at the mans child. "If you ever commit a sin you will suffer the same fate." The preacher turns to leave the boy screams "I will kill you one day" the preacher sighs as the boy screams behind him as he lit on fire.

System

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to create or extinguish a fire as large as A firepit's fire (4 Damage per round) at a Location or on any target within 20 feet. These fires are mundane, and require fuel and oxygen to burn. Fires the size of a lighter or candle flame can be created or extinguished without Exerting your Mind.

Lighting a creature on fire deals A firepit's fire (4 Damage per round), starting the round after the first. Armor reduces this damage, but is likely to be damaged or destroyed after one or two rounds. Fires may be extinguished by the target if they spend an Action and roll Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 8.

Enhancements

  • Curse (Instead of taking effect immediately, you may apply this Power as a curse. Specify a condition that, when fulfilled, causes the suspended effect to occur. The target is informed that they have been cursed and of the condition.)
  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)

    • Tell - He opens or closes his bible.

Drawbacks

  • Monstrous (Possessing this Power causes a mutation that elicits a strong, negative social response from the average person in your setting. The mutation is visible even if you are wearing long sleeves, pants, and shoes. Maximum one per Contractor.)
    • Mutation - His eyes burn like molten rock.
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - A bible
  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
    • Focus - The worn Bible
  • Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.)
  • Half the Equation (You may only create or extinguish fires, not both.)
    • Create or Extinguish - Create
