Magic Missile

Look, all this pop culture stuff has a basis in reality.

A 1 Gift Injure Power used by Preston Vincent Astor III, created by ShadyTradesman.


Whip out your wand, point it at your foe and shout "Magic missile!" A bolt of bright, cold, octarine light whizzes toward your target. It's very Harry Potter until the missile actually hits. Then things get gory.

System Active

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Dexterity + Occult, Difficulty 6. The target may use a Reaction to dodge, parry, or resist, depending on the flavor of the Power. (If a non-dodge/parry resistance roll is used, determine its Attribute and Ability at Power creation).

Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's outcome and the resistance roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Fully Effective.


  • Cantrip (This Power has no Exertion cost, but its level is capped at 2 Gifts, and it cannot be upgraded further)


  • Focus (Activating this Power requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - A wand: a polished rod of metal or wood.


Armor Effectiveness: 0 ( Fully Effective ) Range: 1 ( 45 feet ) Damage: 2 ( 3 )
