Description

Men charge at Conner as he sits peacefully inside the Garden of Eden. One of them hits the edge of the grass and even if they make it through or are pushed away Uriel punishs them for their sacreligous act. He strikes them with a holy wound as he pass he whispers in their ear. "Go to the Pope and tell him of your trespass into the garden and ask forgivness and have him bless the wound." They must then accomplish this or the wound continues to worsen.

System

Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Brawn + Culture Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action. The target may roll to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction to resist.

If you succeed, the target takes a Severity 1 Injury that is not stopped by Armor. This Injury will worsen in Severity by 1 level every 1 week. The target begins experiencing noticeable symptoms immediately. If the target is cured, the Injury remains but does not worsen.

The target or anyone who examines them may roll Brawn + Culture Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action to diagnose their affliction and determine how to treat it. The target may be cured by Eating.

If this Injury would kill the target, they may roll a single die, Difficulty 6. If they succeed, they survive and are cured.

Enhancements

  • Triggered (You cannot manually activate this Effect. Instead, choose a triggering event, always outside your control, that activates this Effect without requiring an Action or Exertion cost from you.)

    • Triggering Event - Something enters the Garden of Eden without being there by Conners invitation

  • Epic Quest (The method of treatment for this Power may be extremely demanding or involved, and the Diagnosis roll is made at Difficulty 8. Requires that the Period Parameter is set to “One day” or slower.)

Drawbacks

  • Pierce to Kill (The target adds half their Armor rating, rounded up, to the outcome on their defensive roll.)
