Description

Petunia has begun to affect time in her own way. By performing a birthing ritual she has begun to speed up the procces immensly. It can affect those around her though if she directs the ritual at them. She has no interest in carrying a child to term.

System

Exert your Mind, choose a Living target within Arm's Reach, and roll Dexterity + Athletics Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action, which the target can contest by rolling to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction. If you succeed, the target is aged by Outcome in years.

If target is human and aged beyond 40 they must roll Brawn difficulty (age/10 rounded down). If they fail, they lose Attribute point from either Perception, Brawn, or Dexterity (chosen randomly). Botches subtract additional Attributes. In the event that they are aged more than 10 years, they must make one such roll for each decade. Reducing any Attribute to 0 causes death (A Perception of 0 causes an indefinite coma).

Enhancements

  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)

    • Tell - Squats and does lamaze breathing.

  • Control (Upon success, you may choose to age the target for less than the value of [[amount-aged]], and, if Attributes are drained, you may choose which ones.)

Drawbacks

  • Exhausting (After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.)
  • Mage (Activating this Effect requires two consecutive Actions of Concentration. It involves intricate use of the body and voice. If interrupted during activation, the Effect fails. It is obvious you are preparing to activate an Effect during casting.)
    • Activation Ritual - Petunia squats over and begins to do lamaze breathing
  • Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.)
