Coopercus's Questionnaire

1. What town or city do you live in? Why do you live there instead of anywhere else? Describe your home.

In a car. Goes all around the place in the car. Calls it his spaceship. It is a 2017 Toyota Carolla. he is initially from Denver (hence the familiarity with handguns) and knows those streets well, but he has been travelling around North and South America. It is the normal silver colour, but it's really rusted. It has a soft interior, not leather, and has a little air freshener that sits on the mirror (it's really old and has no scent.) It is currently parked under a bridge in Florida. He has just a simple pillow, blanket, and some old food sitting around. it also happens to have a bunch of "devices" from SI-FI movies and TV shows from his childhood that he made with scraps. (replicas, of course, no way he could ever make these real).

2. How do you get your money right now? What do you spend it on?

He does odd jobs for people he meets. A freelancer one would say. He often drives to theatres and fills in needed slots in plays; though he has a hard time not trying to be the main character or changing the plotline of the story. he also gets paid as a professional blogger online. he will blog about the latest and greatest in the world of SI-FI, though he is sorta out of touch and behind on the news. he has a small following that loves him for his quirky and "committed" style of writing. he writes as if the happenings in the newest episodes of si-fi shows were really happening.... as that is what he believes.

3. Describe your Ambition. What are you striving for? How far would you go to achieve this? Would you kill for it? How close to death would you come for it?

To bring peace and prosperity to all the galaxy by protecting those who cannot protect themselves. he thinks that he is the captain of an up-and-coming space crew (like from Star Trek) that will roam the galaxy and save those who are in need of saving. but again, he is just a (relatively) normal dude. he will do a whole lot to reach this goal. he is not too scared of torture and near-death threats (though he has never experienced such things) and has aspirations of grandeur and heroism. he would not kill unless it is mandatory to save his crew (friends and acquaintances) or more lives than just one, as he values human life. He set out on this journey long ago (6 years ago) in his beat-up 2017 Toyota Corolla and has not stopped since.

4. What was the most defining event of your life (before signing The Contract), and how did it change you?

Link Answered before Coopercus's first Contract.

well, the moment he saw the truth of his favourite person to ever live.... Captain Kirk. he only saw a few episodes with him in it, but he fell in love with the idea of being a Space Captain! He wanted so badly to be one! he would often over romanticize how great the captains were and would see them as extremely morally just people. the day StarTrek was introduced to him, was the day he was truly born. he did not feel like himself before he saw StarTrek. it truly did change the way he viewed.. well... everything, becoming a full believer of them being historic records and that he was next in line to be Captain.

5. Name and briefly describe three people in your life. One must be the person you are closest to.

1. His Mother. She always encouraged him to follow his dreams. She has always shown love, care, and support for him. She is the only person alive to remember him before he was a StarTrek fan. She was the first person to actually indulge his idea of being a Space Captain. In all honesty, she believed he had a medical reason why he believed what he believed, but he only gained (undiagnosed) delusion after she encouraged the idea. funny how that works.

2. Jimmothy. They go to every convention and meet up in North America together. He is also a StarTrek super-fan! he loves going to the conventions and cosplaying. he is actually just an IT guy for amazon and works out of his car and motel wifi. he is not delusional, just not that socially smart. he just thinks that Coopercus is a committed guy. hasn't realized that Coopercus truly believes in the world of StarTrek.

3. Faith. She is a 24-year-old girl who thinks Coopercuse's commitment is inspiring. has been stalking him for a while now and Coopercus does not mind at all. She has a huge crush on him and is pretty nerdy herself, but Coopercus just does not realize that she likes him. He acts like she is a part of the crew but cannot find a role for her and just says that she could learn something. she has lost him recently and is now seeking him out.

6. How was your childhood? Who were your parents? What were they like? Did you attend school? If so, did you fit in? If not, why not?

Link Answered after Contract 1, Mushroom Hunt

His childhood was interesting to say the least. It often was him in front of the TV watching old vhs tapes and dvds of tv shows. His dad left when he was young and according to his mom, he died in a car crash. His mom was very caring and loving. A little too accepting of his grandiose delusions and ideas. This led him to actually start to believe he was a Star Trek captain.
all of his beliefs were affirmed when an actor from Star Trek who was a captain said that he was in fact a captain (it was at a Comic-Con). This led him to truly believe that it was his calling without a shadow of a doubt. This is reaffirmed every time he goes to a Comic-Con as people there agree that he is in fact waiting for his first mission. He did attend school, but only until he got significantly bullied when his mom pulled him from school and homeschooled him.
