Loose Ends

Powers

Taku has now tapped into the strength his heros possess

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Brawn rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Brawn (cannot be used on combat rolls or Effect activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Must Roll Mind to not trust someone who calls themself a hero.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Champion of the Caber Toss: You may lift an additional 1500 pounds per point of Brawn beyond 5, and may throw items up to this weight with a Brawn + Athletics roll, to a distance of Outcome x10 feet. If this makes you Encumbered, you may still move at 5 feet per Round.
  • Tough: Half your Brawn acts as Armor against all incoming sources of damage.

Taku can now mimic the heros fighting styles of the superheros he admires so much

You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.

+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +0 Bonus Damage Weapon Damage (instead of -1). The target's Armor is fully effective against this damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Armored Fist: You cannot take Damage from attacking a dangerous material (such as steel armor, a spiked carapace, or an acidic blob). You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your attacks.
  • Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
  • Fancy Footwork: You may move your full Dash distance and attack in the same Round without penalty. You may also split your movement before and after your attack.
  • Finesse: You may limit the Severity of any Injury you inflict or determine a maximum Wound Level to inflict on the target, including Incapacitated.
  • Ghost Wrangler: You may grapple incorporeal, liquid, or gaseous entities.
  • One Inch Punch: You may make a full attack against any target you can touch, even if you are restrained. To an observer, you hardly move. In a crowded area, determining that you were the source of an attack requires a Perception + Alertness roll with an Outcome of 4.

  • Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.

Taku has always wanted to be a hero and he discovered his gift of becoming his Heros. He takes a Comic containing the hero and he rips it up saying to himself I am a Hero. In a flash of light he is turned into his hero in order to battle the forces of evil.

Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action to activate.

You transform into A Superhero for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are A Superhero, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. While transformed, your Attributes are the same.

Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Bonus Damage (instead of the typical -2).

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage from multiple sources does not stack. Instead, the highest Bonus is used.
