Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate.

You may levitate off the ground at three times your normal walking speed. The effect lasts for the next minute, and while it is active, you cannot choose to end the effect early, or come closer than 15 feet to the ground.

  • If something pushes or forces you down towards the ground, your buoyancy will automatically push you back upwards to a height of at least 5 feet off the ground.
  • Any penalties to dice or movement, including from Encumbrance, are applied as normal. If your movement is reduced to 0 due to encumbrance, you will begin to sink down to the ground.
  • You may activate this Effect while in midair, allowing you to slow and survive any free fall.

Lagartito - Chumbo

Created and held by Luca Narvaez.
A small lizard statue imbued with the power of destruction. Careful, this one bites.

A small stone statue of a lizard eating its own tail. Running a finger down the spines on its back causes it to color and wake up, coughing up a small puff of smoke before blowing flame onto your target.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Sapient Object or piece of an Object or structure within arm's reach no larger than a purse (5 liters). You cannot target objects which are currently in someone else’s possession. Roll Charisma + Animals Difficulty 6.

If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.

  • The shape of the destroyed material must be simple, such as a box or sphere. Bringing down large buildings requires an Intellect + Crafts roll to analyze the structure and may also require multiple activations. Buildings that are destroyed usually fall slowly or in pieces, creating an environmental hazard for a few Rounds prior to collapsing.
  • The penalty from an object being damaged will stack with itself if a target is hit multiple times, but the object is destroyed when it reaches a total penalty of -4.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

World Cube

Created and held by Levi Brekker.
A black cube with unknown symbols on each dice

As you activate this effect, the cube floats in between your arms as you rotate its sections. It's grooves glow with a dim purple light.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. You must be in an area abundant with man-made structures and materials.

Select one of the following alterations to create out of Man-Made Construction Materials originating at the target:

  • Dome: Create a dome or other simple, enclosed structure made of Man-Made Construction Materials up to 40 feet in radius, 24 feet high, and 24 inches thick.
  • Wall: Create a straight wall made of Man-Made Construction Materials up to 80 feet long, 20 feet high, and 24 inches thick. This wall can also be used to create a bridge, ramp, or similar. It must be free-standing.

The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.

This alteration lasts one minute but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 12 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.

  • Attempting to break any alterations with inappropriate tools may damage or destroy the tools at the GM's discretion.
  • Any structures you create leave precise gaps for obstacles in their path or push them out of the way. You cannot directly destroy objects or structures or damage beings by creating walls or domes.
  • Tool guidance for GMs:
    • Difficulty 9: Brawn 5, no tools.
    • Difficulty 7-8: One-handed tools or makeshift tools (like a sword). Mythic Brawn without tools.
    • Difficulty 6: Appropriate manual tools. Crowbar, sledgehammer, armor-piercing sword, unarmed mastery with Armored Fist.
    • Difficulty 4-5: Power tools, vehicles, explosives.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

While transformed, instead of your normal clothes and equipment, you are equipped with: wip

Created and held by Changsai Paowsong.
A small glass monocle with a silver frame and chain

Changsai pulls the monocle over his eye as he flicks his eyes back and forth across the glass. He jumps and runs from the scene the police chasing behind him.

The monocle originally owned by the Privateer Alvaro Martym and enchanted by an Aztec shaman grants the user the ability to pull things from their imagination into the world. Imaginary objects illusions to the eye, follow the command of Changsai's eye.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within arm's reach. Choose an illusion to generate, which can be no larger than a person.

The chosen illusion is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute. It can be perceived by people through their hearing, smell, and sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You may create a replica of a specific being, though it is still limited by whatever you do or do not know about that individual.

Anyone who touches the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion and can choose to perceive it or not at will.

The illusion is not fixed to the initial target, and may move about at a maximum speed 30 feet per Round. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
