Obedience is able to temporarily puppet Grace’s movements to manipulate objects around them. As with all powers, the three eyes occupied by the girls glow their apple red while Obedience’s pale blue form grows a little stronger. They are also willful enough to land blows as if from cold hands on targets.
The girls’ forms have joined enough now that Obedience’s gestures no longer stray from Grace’s body. One hand joined at the middle finger, another melded into the Gauntlet- they are nearly locked in place, just how the girls want it to be. They are able to manipulate objects in the first place in the way most ghosts are; through a force of powerful (in this case combined) will, sending ripples through the currents of a half-existing realm which flows erratically adjacent to ours.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 2 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 2 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.
Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:
The gift is activated by exclaiming the words "BY THE AUTHORITIES PROVIDED TO ME BY GREGORIOUS III, I DEMAND SUPPORT FROM ADMIRAL JAKOV AGAINST THE HEATHEN!"
When it is said, somewhere, from the sky, a carabel materialises. This carabel will crash at full speed against one area of the battlefield designated beforehand. After impact, the remains of the carabel will disappear.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location no further than 50 feet from you and in your line of sight. This Effect cannot be used unless it is used in open environments. The area within 20 feet of the chosen Location immediately and obviously becomes imminently dangerous. Roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6. Targets inside the radius may attempt an appropriate Reaction at GM’s discretion. Finding a physical barrier to use as cover will cut total damage taken in half (applies after Reaction roll but before Armor).
If the Outcome is positive, your blast hits everything within 20 feet of the chosen Location with Damage equal to your Outcome + 2. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Blood carries memory, in theory at least. Such is the theory of Smoke as he gorges himself on a feast of blood. Within the essence he finds memories, a name, an identity the blood goes by. Further focus drives him to a scent, movement, prey.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a target Object within arm's reach. You must use up the target's blood in order to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
Gloves on, Almost like manipulating the string on a puppet, Jay fingers bend and moves in odd shapes as he manipulates objects in front of him to put on a show for the audience
Physics wise, Jay uses the gloves as attachments for his invisible strings as they burn his fingers and nearly chops them off without it.
You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using Gloves to gain the benefits of this Effect.
You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:
Crusader faintly glows yellow.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You have 2 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Using Slug's greatest weapon, himself, he can effectively use fighting styles akin to boxing and wrestling to unleash heavy punches, kicks, grabs, and throws against his foes.
Slug has always been fond of using his hands, whether it was to shake someone down or noodling for fish. This a common trait among incarnations of the Corpus.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +0 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
You also gain the following effects:
The magician dons their wizard hat, raises their arms, wiggles their fingers, and a rain of sparks fly woosh around an object. It shudders to life and follows the magicians commands, including to do things it was not designed to do.
Exert your Mind and an Action. Select a Inanimate target within arm's reach which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters). You must actively and obviously use a pointed hat with stars and moons to activate this Effect.
Your target will become Animated indefinitely. You may choose to end the effect at will, as a Free Action. You can maintain a max of 4 targets animated at once.
Animated Objects have the following restrictions and capabilities:
The spy can twist the urban environment to their whims, erecting fences, walls, and barriers as needed. They whistle and gesture to where the wall should be, and the surrounding materials fly into place.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. You must be in an area abundant with man-made structures and materials.
Select one of the following alterations to create out of standard building materials originating at the target:
The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.
This alteration lasts one minute but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 6 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. See the extended system text for GM guidance on various tools.
Who wouldn't want one of the mad scientist's famous implants? All it takes is a little time and a few terrifying experiments, and you too could be a better you!
Warning: not fully tested on humans. Risk of dry mouth, upset stomach, or lost limbs. Do not consult your doctor before signing the liability release.
Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you cause a major Battle Scar instead of an augmentation. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
The spy is able to transform an ordinary ballpoint pen into a monitoring device that is inconspicuous enough to blend in to most settings, but advanced enough to allow 360 degree surveillance as well as audio capture, which is sent to their smartphone.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 10 feet. You must actively and obviously use a ballpoint pen to activate this Effect.
You place a ward, which is fixed to a target Object that can be moved and repositioned. You can hear and see through the ward as though you were standing at its location. You may have at most 1 wards active at once.
The ward requires Concentration to monitor, though it will remain active until you deactivate it. The ward can be discovered if someone knows what they are looking for, but is otherwise inconspicuous and cannot be identified as a ward.
Doc puts his hands on you and begins to mutter to himself in french. The effect is instant and horrible. You begin to remember all of the sins of your past, all the ways that you've wronged those who loved you. All of the terrible, evil things you've done on these contracts in order to survive. Doc seems to be in the grips of similar memories, tears running down his chin and dripping onto his hands that are pressed tightly against you. At the point where your mind feels like it's about to break, it's over. Just as quickly as it began. You feel your wounds begin to close.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
