WareTech, when properly fitted, can expand the user's senses to show them electromagnetic fields and electric signals in their vicinity. This feature is generally disabled to save on processing power, but can be enabled at will as long as the user concentrates on it.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
- Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 50 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
Any heightened senses require you to maintain Concentration to use, and do not apply to any passive Perception checks.
- When you are within 50 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.

Charlie has always had a good nose, being able to hunt down food and even dart frogs with ease. But something recently seems to have spiked, and now while in the bakery she can pick out every single thing that’s being baked the second she pulls up to the building. She can also identify blood from quite some ways away, and other signals of people in distress.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
- Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
- Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a infrasonic growl to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.
- Hearing: You may hear sounds of sub- and hyper-sonic frequencies, allowing you to hear tiny things (mice, insects, etc) better, and pick up on the vibrations of massive things (earthquakes, atmospheric disruptions, etc) long before others.
- Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.
Thermal Vision
The user is able to see heat signatures.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
- Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures within your line of sight.
- Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

The Well and its inhabitants birth darkness, bathe in darkness, and breed darkness. Oblivion started in darkness and will end in darkness. Its various inhabitants have adapted to such a harsh terrain- Umbra was no different, and Luci's connection to the Well allows her to temporarily adopt some of those perceptive traits.
Luci's irises swell with cloudy blackness, like a drop of paint trailing down in a jar of water, turning her eyes from a light hazel to a deep black to annotate this change.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up 1 liter of ink in order to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.

- Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.
- Sight: You can see things that are up to a mile away as though you were only standing twenty feet away, provided your view is unobstructed.
- Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.
Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.
- Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.

Mark's heartbeat races as addrenaline surges through his body, affecting not only his muscles but his nervous system.
With focus, his perception cracks open like a whip, colors vibrant and sharp. His durability extends to every cell, every rod and cone, every hair cell in his cochlea, every neuron surging information into his brain, operating at full capacity without aging or wear and tear. Operating at 110% capacity without tiring, and processing the smallest scrap of information effectively.
The only problem is.. There's so much to see and hear. It takes real concentration to stay present.
You gain the following benefits at all times.

- Your microscopic vision requires a close look at a very small, specific area to use. It does not grant increased distance vision, it simply provides a higher resolution, allowing you to see finer and finer detail.

The beastmaster closes their eyes and channels nature's bloody struggle for survival. When their eyes reopen, they catch the light and glow red like a dog's. While in this heightened state, they may sense heat signatures and triangulate the tiniest sound.
