Protein Booster The body needs protein to rebuild

The power to heal lingering disfigurements and scars.
Used by Brioche Vidal, Created by BobDylan530.
(When activating this Effect, it is obvious you are treating the target. You must actively and obviously be using up a piece of freshly cooked meat.)

Brioche feeds his target a nice medium-rare steak which is so packed with protein that their broken flesh and bones will re-knit back together.

Exert your Mind and spend ten minutes to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up a piece of freshly cooked meat in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.

The treated Battle Scar will heal over the course of the next week.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Community Power Gifts

Benny has further succumbed to his true demonic self, and cannot be killed by traditional mortal weaponry. He can only be truly destroyed through fire or decapitation. However, the ancient magics restricting vampires have begun to impede him; he must now be invited into a home if he wishes to enter it.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life.

While Incapacitated, your only weakness is either fire or decapitation, and if you take damage from it, you will die. Damage from other sources will still be dealt and can cause Battle Scars, but will never kill you. If your weakness is not immediately intuitive or obvious, attackers may be able to make some sort of knowledge roll to discover it, at GMs discretion. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.

Possession of this Gift grants the following Trauma at all times: Cannot enter a home without being invited in.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

You also gain the following effects:

  • No Choice But To Stan: If someone speaks or acts against you socially, anyone observing it must roll Mind, with the difficulty equal to your Charisma, in order to not defend you.
  • The Price Of Fame: If you are spotted and recognized in public, you will quickly be mobbed by fans, and any attempts to hide or disguise yourself are at +3 difficulty.

  • Being forced to Stan will not force someone to violate any of their Limits or to engage in violence of any kind (though they may still do so of their own volition).

Alexei's spent his career wrestling, and he'd gotten good. His fighting only continued when he went into prison, and again when he started his career as a contractor. Now he's finally learned not to let the pain get to him.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action to activate.

Your Body Penalty is reduced to 0. Lasts for one hour. Does not reduce Mind Penalty.

Your Pendent glows with warm golden glow and so does your body as all bird sing a holy song

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use Diamond pendant to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Brawl at Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 2 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. Half the damage absorbed is reflected back at the attacker, which they can Defend against as normal. The Damage reduction from the Barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.

You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The Barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of damage. When a Barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds. As long as it does not fall, the barrier regenerates back to full strength at the end of each Round of combat.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Two Giant wing like scars and my back almost like they were ripped off.

After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

Driven to madness, a Frenzied Ghoul is hard to stop.

You gain the following benefits as long as Alternate Form active.

Your Body and Mind Penalties are reduced to 0.

Come one, come all! Stand in amazement and behold as the Fire Eater consumes a flame as we would cotton candy! Gasp with fright as they breathe a plume of fire a great distance! And yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is quite dangerous.

Exert your Mind and spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: a sick fire-eating trick to activate. Select a target within 20 feet which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire). Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you take a Severity-4 Injury as the fire burns your throat. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You may start or extinguish a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. You may create or extinguish fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.

Lighting a target on fire deals 3 damage per round, starting in the next round after the one in which they caught fire. This damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.

  • Someone may attempt to extinguish a fire that you started by spending an Action and rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 8.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

The Ranger is adept at following their quarry through any terrain. Once they find a recent track, they may focus their will to illuminate the trail of their target. Any part of the target's trail within eyeshot glows a bright, misty green. Even the trails made by vehicles the target was riding in are illuminated.

Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Sapient target at any range. Activation requires possession of the target's fresh tracks, which is used up during the process. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Survival at Difficulty 6.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You may follow the target's trail, no matter where or how they have traveled, so long as the trail is less than a day old.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

Any information you gather is revealed by illuminating the trail in a glowing light and made publicly available.

  • Tracker You are not made instantly aware of where they have been in the past 24 hours; you must follow their trail. You may "happen upon" any trail they have made in the past 24 hours.

The Witch is a master herbalist and can cure any number of illnesses and diseases with her special potions. After briefly observing the patient's symptoms, she goes into the wilderness to find the proper set of herbs. Once she has what she's looking for, she mixes them together and boils the concoction. Steam rises from the mixture, twisting into recognizable shapes such as animals and spirits. The whole process takes about fifteen minutes, after which the patient must drink the entire mixture. They immediately cured of any mundane and curable poison, disease, or venom.

The proper preparation varies from person to person, so a single batch cannot be used to treat multiple people.

Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless you can forage for herbs. You must actively and obviously use water, a container, and fire to activate this Effect.

You may cure any any number of diseases or poisons afflicting yourself even if you have not diagnosed or fully understood them. You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional damage or other effects.

  • Without some sort of diagnostic Effect, “fully diagnosing” a disease or poison will always require a roll of some sort, frequently Intellect + Medicine, but the specific roll and difficulty is at GM’s discretion.

As long as the Ninja is dressed in an appropriate uniform, their movement is almost silent.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are visibly dressed head to toe in black with hardly any skin showing.

You and any clothes or equipment you are wearing are partially obscured from hearing. All attempts to detect you using hearing are rolled at a -3 dice penalty.

Entering Combat or being Injured will end the Effect. When the Effect ends, it is disabled for 1 hour.

  • GMs should use their discretion when determining the exact impacts of this Effect, particularly in conjunction with environmental factors. Standing still against a complex background may render you impossible to detect, and footprints in snow may make it easy. A chance to detect you is not guaranteed.

The Thief has a stash in which they can store a few objects. It can be accessed through any burlap sack.

spend a Free Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use a burlap sack to activate this Effect.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.

  • Containers which hold multiple things may count as a single item so long as the things within are generally packaged together. For instance, you may stash a clip full of bullets, a medical kit full of medical supplies, or a box of crackers, but you cannot stash a backpack full of miscellaneous equipment.
  • You may only attempt to store Objects which are free-standing and disconnected from other things. The use of this Effect will not allow you to sever any connections holding an Object in place.
  • The Maximum Object Size parameter is intended to roughly capture the weight / size restriction of items and isn’t intended to restrict shape. GM discretion is advised. A human being is level 4 in the Maximum Object Size parameter.
