The Divine voice of the Goddess may be channeled by the bearer of the seal, provided they stand within her house of shadows. The ring visibly throbs & pulsates with power as this occurs.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. Select a Sapient being, human, or Dead target within 50 feet. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession. This Effect cannot be used unless both you & the target are completely in shadow.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
- The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

CryptoLeak: Silence is Broken
CryptoLeak is a video streaming platform with a singular goal: to allow users to upload and share video content, no matter what. Videos uploaded to cryptoleak cannot be removed, doctored, or censored.
Despite a near-universal condemnation by world leaders, most people greatly appreciate CryptoLeak. It's the go-to platform for posting illuminations, whistleblowing evidence, and data leaks.
CryptoLeak is a mundane technlogical entity that cannot be controlled or destroyed. It has no backing business or organization. It utilizes a distributed architecture that allows it to host content across the entire world, sharding and mirroring its petabytes of data accross millions of personal devices. Content uploaded to CryptoLeak is immutable and cannot be doctored or redacted by any known means.
For once, technology has put the power in the hands of the little guys.
World governments and other powerful organizations can still censor or restrict access to CryptoLeak within their domains, and they sometimes utilize the platform for misinformation and psy-ops campaigns. However, for most people, CryptoLeak represents the freedom to speak and be heard.
Of course, simply uploading a video does not gaurentee it will be seen or gain traction, nor does it protect you from any consequences that may come along with pulling back the veil. . .

Lod, after his time in China, was able to understand how to commune with others, just as he was allowed to during his 4th contract by the cosmic powers-at-be. He can use his psychic powers to forcefully compress the information he is receiving, at an incredibly fast speed, which allows him to transform that knowledge into a form that is more easily digestible and understandable by Lod.

Mind open to the dead

Mel furrows his brow, and focuses on the name of the target. A ghostly apparition forms, and can speak to Mel.
Mel’s mind opens more the the world of the supernatural. With some focus he can call up the dead, and talk to them.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. For dead targets, you must possess their True Name.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is Mel furrows his brow and looks at the target. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
You may only use this Effect once per target per day.

Nature's Tounge
They all have their own languages, and now I know them.
Carpathia speaks in Italian (her first language) to her target, who appears to be comprehending what she's saying and responds with their respective form of communication, whatever that may be.
Carpathia gains an instinctual knowledge of how animals communicate with eachother and is able to translate it to her human tongue, and when they take a close enough look at her they can feel her ties to the spirit of the natural world, and by extension, them.

- Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
- The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
Sympathy
"The first step to peace is mutual understanding."
The user can understand and be understood by any being thanks to the suit's ability to translate. As they speak, their message is transcribed through a speech bubble that appears next to them in an inky, comic book style, where their words are also dubbed over in the event they cannot be read. On their end, any messages they receive can be understood through a series of text bubbles that they can only see.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. You must use up a cartridge of ink in order to activate this Effect.
You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.
This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.
- Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
- The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
- When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

Death Speak

The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.
