The Psychic focuses for a moment, and a precise replica of themselves shimmers into existence. The copy is merely a visual illusion and is easily dispelled if it is touched. The Psychic may concentrate to puppet the illusion, or give it a basic, repetitive task.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within arm's reach.
An image of yourself is generated at your target, and it will remain in place for the next minute or you choose to end it. It can be perceived by people through their sight. The illusion cannot be used as an attack. You may create a replica of a specific being or Object, though it is still limited by what you do or do not know about the subject.
Anyone who touches the illusion (or who would be able to perceive it significantly through a sense it cannot fool) realizes it is an illusion, and the entire effect will be ended for all targets.
The illusion is not fixed to the initial target, and may move about at a maximum speed 30 feet per Round. It may have moving parts and engage in simple, predetermined movements but cannot perform anything complex or interactive unless you maintain Concentration and “puppeteer” it.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
Jumping through the shadows allows Jules to move in ways that were once difficult
Exert your Mind (unless night/shadows) and spend 2 rounds to activate. Select a Location within your line of sight.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. You must wait 1 full Round before activating this Effect again.
Squirrel stops, holds up his hand to stop the group and leans over the ground, pulling back the grass to reveal a footprint. "Yee yee, we got'eeem now boys!" He leans over the print, sniffing it with the his nose just over it, then you hing his finger to it and having a taste of the soil...
He spits it out. "Tiger. Recently fed... Seems like it ate a family pet yesterday, still a tinge of dog blood in his prints.. We'll get him." He continues to search the area and eventually finds the trail again, only to take off running like a madman.
The Mind roll represents how "obvious", simple minded, and bestial the creatures behaviors, and thus, squirell's predictions, are.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Sapient target or a Creature at any range. Activation requires possession of the target's Track/Prints of the target, which is used up during the process. This Effect cannot be used unless Target can't be human. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Animals at Difficulty 6. The target resists by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsion to hunt the last creature I used this power on immediately..
Cletus Castill is a living portal to a pocket dimension packed with infinite meat. When injured, his body explodes outwards to repair the wound with way too much flesh. It's quite a sight.
You gain the following benefits as long as the healing is a product of accessing the flesh pocket dimension and whenever an Injury heals due to this effect, you receive a dice penalty to your next three actions equal to the severity of the Injury healed, as the flesh rends apart explosively. If the Injury recieved is due to an effect which rots flesh, mutates it or would cause it to rapidly change, this penalty lasts for twice as long, and takes 10 minutes to heal. Effects which anchor a target to reality are not healed by this effect.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level each Round. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.
As long as at least half your body remains intact, you cannot die and remain at Incapacitated, regardless of how many Injuries you take. It is clear to observers that you are still alive.
You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Meat Phobia: If you would need to consume meat, you must succeed on a Self-Control roll or vomit.
Jordan pauses for a moment (less than an action, it is barely a second) as his brain processes the alien spy database he was grown with, a database that contains all languages on the planet he was assigned to (Earth). He then speaks fluently in that language, as if he had always known it. Because the database in his DNA always had.
As Jordan continues to awaken from a sleeper agent into an active agent, he may unlock sections of this database that are currently locked off from him…such as knowledge of alien languages, and of creatures outside his primary assignment of infiltrating human society.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You may understand and communicate to humans as if you are fluent in a relevant language.
With a growl, meep, gibber, or similar; Edgar makes it clear what happens to those who get in his way.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless Alternate Form is activated. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6 -3 dice.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by Fear - Horror. They will outwardly display their emotions in an obvious and visible way.
Actions they take may be extreme and out of character for them. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
When your target interacts with any valid target, they must roll Self-Control or be swept up in the same emotion. New targets pass it on as well, and so on, with the remaining duration decreasing by half until the chain stops.
If the target fails or botches their defensive roll, they gain a Trauma, which must be related to the chosen emotion in some way.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see a suitably terrifying display of his monstrous nature.
The hacker can overload any electronic device by fiddling with their smart watch for a moment. The targeted device shudders and gets white-hot before bursting into deadly shrapnel.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a object that uses electricity within 20 feet no larger than a duffel bag (35 liters). You must actively and obviously use a smart watch to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Technology Difficulty 6.
If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.
When a target is destroyed, it sends shards flying. Anyone within 5 feet of the object rolls 4d10 at Difficulty 6 and takes damage equal to the Outcome. Can be reacted to.
The detective squints, drawing on years of police experience to find any hidden drugs, weapons, or other illegal objects, no matter how well-hidden.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all illegal materials within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.
The werewolf unleashes their inner beast, transforming into an imposing hybrid of human and wolf. Their head reforms into that of a wolf, robbing them of speech but bestowing a maw of deadly fangs. Grey fur sprouts from their body as it swells with muscle, ripping any tight-fitting clothes. While transformed, the werewolf is impulsive and driven more by instinct than logic.
If The Werewolf is struck my moonlight, they are compelled to transform.
Exert your Mind and spend a Quick Action.
You transform into a werewolf for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a werewolf, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -2).
Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
While transformed, you automatically fail any Mind roll to resist an impulse and suffer -3 dice on all other Mind rolls.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Whenever you are struck by the light of a full or gibbous moon, you must roll Self-Control to resist transforming. Triggers a max of once per night.
As a free creature, The Fairy cannot withstand being caged or imprisioned in any way. Luckily, they possess a glamour that allows them to unlock any lock binding them with a wink of their eye. The lock falls open with a sparkle of light and a sound like a ringing bell.
Spend an Action. Select a door, lock, or locked target within arm's reach. Cannot be used on Alien technology. This Effect cannot be used unless the targeted lock or door is being used to restrain or imprison you.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
The Necromancer temporarily assumes the form of their own corpse, complete with maggots, spilled entrails, and exposed bone. They cannot move while transformed, but their empty eye sockets see as well as ever.
Exert your Mind and Spend an Action.
You transform into your own corpse for one minute. While transformed, you may control the functioning of the object you have transformed into. You can perceive your surroundings as normal. You can be targeted as a Non-Living, Sapient Object.
If you are damaged while transformed, the damage is realized when you return to normal. If you are damaged before you transform, your inanimate form will appear partially damaged.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
