Primordial Communication *Fox scream*
Minerva lets out a breath, closing her eyes for a moment. Her pendant glows, and then her eyes open. One paw in both worlds, she talks to someone in both. In the physical world she still can't understand them, but in the Dreamlands, she can understand them as one does.
The Dreamlands, as always, are somewhat inhospitable. Minerva leans on her pendant to help her make her way though.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use silver fox pendant to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.
This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.
- Communing with creatures does not grant them intellect but does allow you to converse with them.
- The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
- When reading written communications, you get no information beyond what the writer was intending to communicate.

CryptoLeak: Silence is Broken
CryptoLeak is a video streaming platform with a singular goal: to allow users to upload and share video content, no matter what. Videos uploaded to cryptoleak cannot be removed, doctored, or censored.
Despite a near-universal condemnation by world leaders, most people greatly appreciate CryptoLeak. It's the go-to platform for posting illuminations, whistleblowing evidence, and data leaks.
CryptoLeak is a mundane technlogical entity that cannot be controlled or destroyed. It has no backing business or organization. It utilizes a distributed architecture that allows it to host content across the entire world, sharding and mirroring its petabytes of data accross millions of personal devices. Content uploaded to CryptoLeak is immutable and cannot be doctored or redacted by any known means.
For once, technology has put the power in the hands of the little guys.
World governments and other powerful organizations can still censor or restrict access to CryptoLeak within their domains, and they sometimes utilize the platform for misinformation and psy-ops campaigns. However, for most people, CryptoLeak represents the freedom to speak and be heard.
Of course, simply uploading a video does not gaurentee it will be seen or gain traction, nor does it protect you from any consequences that may come along with pulling back the veil. . .

Valentine's throat and Adam's apple are visibly changed, the Adam's looks more like a trident now.
On inspection, Valentine's throat is black with light heus of pink.

Dead Souls
The user writes the name and surname of their target within their journal before drawing a large X over it, the moment the X is created the shadow of the user detaches and becomes an image of the deceased, resembling their moment at the time of their death with all injuries present, their form is mostly amorphous and constantly swirling in darkness. When the time elapses the target disappears and the shadow returns to the user with the x over the name being removed.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. In order to target the Dead, you must have their true name. You must actively and obviously use A leather journal to activate this Effect.
The target can communicate in your language for the next ten minutes.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
Sapian Speech

The Komodo Dragon speaks with other people, unlike other animals that cannot speak.

Speak to the dead!
Frankie channels the spirit. Their features warp to mimic the ghost's face and body. Their movements become stiff and jerky, making cracking noises. Their hair stands on end, and their jaw opens up beyond normal human capabilities, and a bright, ghostly light gleams from within.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. For dead targets, you must possess their True Name.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
Communicating with a being cannot directly damage your Mind or cause Injury. All rolls to resist Effects that rely on communicating with you are made at -1 Difficulty.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see you channel the ghost as your hair stands on end, you make cracking noises, your movements turn jerky, and your appearance changes to match the ghost.
- When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within arm's reach. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
