The power to generate useful mundane items.
Used by Buttons the Clown, Created by emoprincess420.
( You must actively and obviously be using a bag of any kind.)

Buttons holds up the bag for any present audience to show there’s nothing inside, she makes exaggerated focused faces as she digs her arm around. After a moment she pulls out her desired object from the bag and displays it proudly with a big smile

Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you Accidentally pull out something incredibly useless or dangerous. You must actively and obviously use a bag of any kind to activate this Effect.

Choose an Object which could fit inside a large luggage bag (up to 75 liters). It must be Non-Alien and generic. You cannot create explosives. You may create firearms.

Roll Charisma + Performance to fabricate your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. The created item lasts 2 hours.

  • The Difficulty for the fabrication roll increases based on specificity. Something like a "shirt" would be Difficulty 5, whereas "Police uniform" would be Difficulty 9. The Outcome determines overall quality and how well the item fits the request.
  • You can fabricate a container of something so long as it contains a single type of thing (such as a tank of water) or it is designed to be packaged together (such as a first aid kit).

Community Activated Gifts

It comes in a box that reads "Jann Melmouth, Freelance Pastry Chef". The box also has Jann's contact info on the inside, under where the paper box liner sits.

Use up this pastry and spend 1 minute. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, penalty does not apply.

If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.

This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

  • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.
  • Unstabilized wounds do not degenerate during treatment.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. You must use up gas in order to activate this Effect. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour.

You may levitate off the ground at two times your normal walking speed. The effect lasts for the next hour, and while it is active, you cannot choose to end the effect early, or come closer than 15 feet to the ground.

Your encumbrance penalty while levitating increases every 50lbs over your limit instead of every 15lbs.

After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

  • If something pushes or forces you down towards the ground, your buoyancy will automatically push you back upwards to a height of at least 5 feet off the ground.
  • If this Effect fails due to the Unreliable check, you must still pay any associated activation costs.
  • Any penalties to dice or movement are applied as normal. If your movement is reduced to 0 due to encumbrance, you will begin to sink down to the ground.
  • You may activate this Effect while in midair, allowing you to slow and survive any free fall.

With his Mind/machine interface in place, Doctor Lazcowicz is now experimenting with new functions. In this case, after extruding a small number of nanites into an existing computer, smartphone, or smartwatch he can use them to reconstruct the internals of the device. Enhancing onboard cameras into medical scanners and using the raw materials of the circuit boards within to construct a nanite factory, the device now acts as a controller and dispenser for specialized nanite piles that will reconstruct scarred and damaged body parts at a cellular level to make them good as new! with their micronized technology, they can even preserve the original function of the device by recreating its circuitry on a nanotic scale. Mundane functions still require normal power though, and trying to power on the device when the mundane battery is dead will allow only use of the "Reconstruction" app.

Attempting to dispense nanites while charging the normal battery is... ill advised.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an hour. Select a Battle Scar on yourself to treat.

The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless you have not been sprayed with soap water within the last hour.

You transform into a swarm of 700 japanese beetles for the next minute. You may end the effect early and return to your normal form at will. Your structure must remain relatively contiguous. It is not necessarily obvious that your transformed state is an unusual phenomena or that it is acting with singular purpose.

While in this form, you can squeeze through any gap that is not water-tight.

Damage from standard attacks is halved, but damage from AOE effects is increased by 1.

You cannot communicate, use equipment, or use Gifts while transformed. Your equipment does not transform with you beyond basic body coverings. You cannot carry any items while transformed.

While transformed, you can make an unarmed attack using Body as your attack roll. The target may contest by dodging or Defending. This attack deals +2 damage.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You transform into Cartoon Oswald for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Cartoon Oswald, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.

While transformed, your Dexterity is increased by 1 and your Charisma is increased by 1. Your Stress is reduced by 2.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Cartoon Logic.

If you become Incapacitated or suffer an Injury Severity 4 or greater, you revert from your Alternate form.

  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Stock Activated Gifts

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You may move easily and without a roll in any of the following situations. Lasts 2 hours.

  • Spider Climber: You are able to climb on and cling to any surface without regard for the ordinary rules of gravity. You climb at your normal movespeed.

Spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use a burlap sack to activate this Effect.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.

You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.

You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.

  • "Equip" refers to drawing a gun, putting on a piece of armor, etc.
  • Containers which hold multiple things may count as a single item so long as the things within are generally packaged together. For instance, you may stash a clip full of bullets, a medical kit full of medical supplies, or a box of crackers, but you cannot stash a backpack full of miscellaneous equipment.
  • You may only attempt to store Objects which are free-standing and disconnected from other things. The use of this Effect will not allow you to sever any connections holding an Object in place.
  • The Maximum Object Size parameter is intended to roughly capture the weight / size restriction of items and isn’t intended to restrict shape. GM discretion is advised. A human being is level 4 in the Maximum Object Size parameter.

This Effect activates whenever you are submerged in salt water. It does not require an Action or Exertion.

You transform into small for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.

While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you cannot use your Active, Direct, or Trap Powers. However, you can use your Passive Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
  • Creature Stats
    • Medium (large house cat up to human) Body 3. Brawn 1. Dexterity 3. Fall damage reduced by 1.
All creatures get +3 dice to any non-combat Action that they are naturally adapted for. All creatures Medium and larger may attack by rolling Body, dealing +0 Damage (+1 for “predators”). Gms and Playgroup leaders can apply other bonuses and effects to specific animals.
  • Animals that are quicker than humans (like dogs) have 50 feet of Free Movement. Animals that are very slow (like turtles) have 0 feet of Free Movement.
  • You cannot transform if there is not enough room to do so.

Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. You must actively and obviously use a top hat to activate this Effect.

Choose an Object which could fit inside a regular backpack (up to 27 liters). It must be Non-Alien and generic. You cannot create explosives. You may create firearms.

Roll Perception + Occult to fabricate your chosen Object.

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction.

You phase out of reality for up to 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.

When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.

You leave a golden glow shaped like yourself at your location.

  • If you use this Effect to dodge as a Reaction, it succeeds without the need for a roll. Cannot be used as a Desperate Defense.
  • You may use your Free Movement on the Round you phase back in, but you cannot take an Action.
