This is a doctor who exists on the front lines. They're most at home working under stressful conditions when the stakes couldn't be higher.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
All Stabilizations you attempt are considered Proper Stabilizations.
You also gain the following effects:
Taking ingredients provided to him, Bu fang can turn these raw jade, polish them, and refine them into culinary masterpieces. Upon which, being eaten, aside from tasting amazing, seems to imbued the user with the feeling and thought as if they themselves have the power of the creature that they have just eaten.
This one is fine, but makes it even weirder that you would want to take Maddening - each Trauma limits your "space" for Augments
Exert your Mind and spend 30 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Trauma and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
By transplanting a body part from another creature, you can grant a Powers intrinsic to that body part to the subject.
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
Master Batter Ghosts phase in and out of Brennings while the target is infused with the Spirits of the Game, as they are pulled from their "Benches" and their vitalities shared between them... And then Jason Hit's the target with their bat.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Dexterity + Athletics at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on the same patient.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Master Batter Ghosts phase in and out of Brennings while the target is infused with the Spirits of the Game, as they are pulled from their "Benches" and their vitalities shared between them..
Your body stops existing for a few moment
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction.
You phase out of reality for 1 Round. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
Preston waves several crystals and gems around the head of his patient while humming and chanting mystical words. The pox of the disease is pulled into the crystal, turning it black.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless Disease must be caused by supernatural effect.. You must actively and obviously use Several crystals or gemstones. to activate this Effect.
You may cure any Non-Alien diseases, toxins, or poisons afflicting your target even if you have not diagnosed or fully understood it. You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional Damage or other effects.
You may treat Alien maladies and curses. If there is some method to cure them, you learn what it is. If the malady does not provide its own means of curing it, it is cured.
Benny is transformed into a vile creature of the night! His skin has faded to a deathly pale, only regaining something close to human complexion in the immediate aftermath of feeding on human blood, and his irises are a dark blood red, though they fade slightly if he hasn't fed in some time. His visage easily fades into nothing when it is shrouded in shadow, leaving only a faint impression of nasty red eyes for those who know where to look.
He withers when exposed to direct sunlight or when he has been unable to feed in the past day, but otherwise has gained inhuman strength, speed, and irresistibility from his devil's bargain.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have fed in the last 24 hours and you are not in direct sunlight.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: into a fearsome vampire, with deathly pale skin and blood-red irises. You are considered to be a Sapient, Non-Living being when targeted. Your Brawn is increased by 2, your Dexterity is increased by 1, and your Charisma is increased by 1.
Your body is adapted to hiding in shadows or darkness. You receive +3 dice on non-attack rolls related to hiding in shadows or darkness.
You are immune to damage from cold. If cold is a substantial component of other damage you would take (e.g. falling from a great distance into a vat of liquid nitrogen), that damage is reduced by 2 (in addition to Armor)
Your Injuries no longer degrade with time.
The Severity of any Injury caused by heat or fire is increased by 2.
True to their namesake, the hacker can penetrate the security of any computer system, granting access to its informational stores, or, in a pinch, allowing them to issue commands. The hacked system will display a flickering image of a ghost until it is dismissed.
While hacking, The Technician's fingers move with supernatural speed, blurring like a ghost.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Computer within arm's reach. Does not work on Alien technology. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
If your command does not require bypassing the security of the target (for example, typing on a computer that is unlocked), you do not need to Exert your Mind to activate this Effect, and activation only takes a single Action.
Your Hack cannot be reversed through mundane means for a number of hours equal to your Outcome.
Every hack you make leaves behind a flickering image of a ghost in the system as a personal "calling card" that informs anyone who uses the system that the hack occurred.
No terrestrial animal dares defy the will of the beastmaster. The beastmaster exerts their dominance over an animal by locking eyes and giving a primal cry. The creature immediately becomes docile and eager to please.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Creature within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is a terrestrial animal.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands can be complex and multi-layered, though they must still be specific. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
Through their faith, the priest is able to stretch bread or fish to extreme lengths, feeding a seemingly endless number of people from meager supplies.
Spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use bread or a fish to activate this Effect.
For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, or sleep. Any attempts to age your target fail.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
By slowing the hands of one of their watches, the time-traveler may interrupt and slow a target's movement through time. The target appears to be moving in slow motion for the duration.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use a watch or clock to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Science at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target will suffer a dice penalty equal to the Outcome for the next 2 Rounds. Dice pools may be reduced all the way down to 0 by this penalty. This breaks Concentration.
You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking, reducing their Outcome by your own. Your command has no impact beyond disrupting their Action.
