A instinct honed through years of hunting, stalking, shooting, patience acquired and attained. Skillful mastery over the bow from a hunter.

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with Bows. You must actively and obviously be using Goggles to gain the benefits of this Effect.

Your attacks with Bows have their base Difficulty set to 6, are no longer limited by your Brawn, and deal +3 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage. Reloading is considered a Free Action.

You also gain the following effects:

  • All-Terrain Archer: Your attacks made with Bows never suffer penalties due to movement or environmental conditions. This includes sprinting, climbing, firing in the rain, etc.
  • Bullet Parry: You may React to and Defend against firearms and other projectiles with Bows.
  • Your arrows are treated as Firearms when determining how they can be Reacted to.
  • Payload: Your projectiles can carry a payload of up to 3 lbs without a penalty.
  • Pin Down: If your attack hits a target near a wall or a floor, the projectile pierces through them, pinning them to the wall or floor. Unpinning oneself quickly will increase the relevant Injury’s Severity by 1.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with Fishing equipment.

You receive +2 dice to all rolls using Fishing equipment. Reloading is considered a Free Action.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Bullet Parry: You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.
  • Pincushion: Any attack or Effect activation roll against a target that already has one of your projectiles stuck into them is rolled at -1 Difficulty.

  • Bullseye: If you are not making an attack or activating an Effect, any projectile you fire will be considered a complete success without needing to make a roll.

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with bows, crossbows, slingshots, and slings.

You receive +2 dice to all rolls using bows, crossbows, slingshots, and slings. Reloading is a Free Action, and drawing your weapon does not require a Quick Action as long as it is on your person.

You also gain the following effects:

  • All-Terrain Archer: Your attacks made with bows, crossbows, slingshots, and slings never suffer penalties due to movement or environmental conditions. This includes sprinting, climbing, firing in the rain, etc.
  • Bullet Parry: You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.
  • Hail Storm: You may Exert your Mind to make an attack with bows, crossbows, slingshots, and slings against all targets within a 120 degree arc in front of you. Your full attack Outcome applies to each of them, but they may attempt to Dodge or Defend if they are aware of the attack.

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with Bows.

  • Your arrows are treated as Firearms when determining how they can be Reacted to.
  • Leave No Trace: Your projectiles crumble or vanish after impact, leaving no meaningful trace of your assault beyond the wounds they leave. If your attack would kill or incapacitate your target, they make no sound, even incidentally, for the next Round.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

  • Bullseye: If you are not making an attack or activating an Effect, any projectile you fire will be considered a complete success without needing to make a roll.
